Always go with your gut feeling. Success never comes easy, and if someone starts spouting nonsense about how you could easily make $XXX,XXX/year, run.

Buying a already profitable business, now to due dilligence

Yeah I could start a thread, some of the information would be irrelevant to online business purchases and some of the information can be applied to any business. If you would like to hear more, you can always pm me and I'll be happy to talk to you about it, don't want to hijack the thread.

Buying a already profitable business, now to due dilligence

I've bought 3 businesses, not online businesses, but they were all in the same field. On paper they looked like great deals, but after closing they were all a mess when I completely took over and it was a MASSIVE headache to recover them and cost me some extra money out of pocket to get things...

I am crazy busy right now, the aftermath of this hurricane has turned into a gold mine, but at the cost of my time to manage it all. It will be tough to get out, but I will try to stop by (maybe 630 if I can get out there).

    Hurricane Irma

    OFF-TOPIC
This hurricane is no joke, all my friends are boarding up their windows and getting ready to ride it out. I didn't board up my windows, but I'm pretty far inland, maybe 80-100 mph winds. I hope we all get through this unharmed. There's a lot of opportunity to get out and help restore our...

I don't think the main part of the storm is going to hit Tampa, but the eastern side of FL might get hit still. I'm going to be out in the field pretty much the entire time before and after the hurricane so rescheduling would be great. If the hurricane ends up hitting us and does a lot of...

How to get out of parents house?

    MINDSET
I moved out at 17 because my household situation was shit with my family. Left South Carolina and moved down to Florida where I knew nobody, but I knew there was more opportunity to succeed. At first things got worse, sleeping on an air mattress in someone's computer room for $150/mo (I got...

I will help you find a product to sell on Amazon

    GOLD!
My thoughts on it were you can improve the quality of the plastic that holds the bracelet together, increase the quality of the materials used in the bracelet so it doesn't fade as easily and give it a unique design in the bracelet that hasn't been brought to market that is in demand. The above...

I will help you find a product to sell on Amazon

    GOLD!
I'm by no means an ecommerce guy, but I'm pretty big into accessories like necklaces and bracelets. I'd like to throw this idea out there for the forum as I think there's a need to fill for this. One huge issue I see is getting high quality, fashionable bracelets. I'm in mens fashion groups on...

What was the most difficult thing you've had to learn or do for your business?

Understanding that the reward comes at the end of the journey, not the beginning or middle. Reinvest almost everything back into the business... Hold the vision and trust in the process.

Help A Young Adult With His Future...

I agree with a lot of the above posts, finish the degree. In order to improve a process and solve problems in the mechanical industry, you will have to master your craft first. School doesn't help for shit with performing well in the actual field. This will take time to master and find needs...
