HOT! EXECUTIONDo y When I make calls on Saturday do you think I should I should pitch then on what I’ve already put together or ask them what they’d be willing to pay for? For example, I could call and say “hey, this is what we’re doing. Do you want it?” Or, I could say “hey, this is what we’re thinking...- sonny_1080

HOT! EXECUTIONSince I'm going to try a new revenue model (pay-per-call), does anyone have any suggestions on how much I should charge for each call? I'm thinking each membership is gonna be a 12-month commitment. I figure in order for a call to be "qualified" it has to meet 3 criteria: From a U.S. phone...- sonny_1080

HOT! EXECUTIONThanks man. Not gonna lie, your last post had me totally reevaluating my life for the last hour lol. The value that people will pay for (maybe) is the phone calls they get from the site. I won't know until I call them and offer it to them. I have 230 places to call starting on Saturday. If...- sonny_1080

HOT! EXECUTIONI appreciate your feedback. I have thought about charging users for this service. That's a super pain in the a$$, but if my current plan doesn't work out then I can unpack that idea more. Thank you for your kind words about the nobility of my mission. I do volunteer locally and that's where...- sonny_1080

HOT! EXECUTIONBeen 6 months since I last posted. Here's the update: Got super depressed leading up to my 30th birthday in April Girlfriend who I had been living with for 4.5 years said she wanted "to sleep with other people". Lived out of a duffle bag and slept on my dad's couch for 2 months until I could...- sonny_1080

Is this a ME-BIAS?
MARKETINGSince I already have a functioning website that is providing value to my users and a list of service-providers to contact, I can simply call them up and focus on what is in it for them. If I'm a service-provider, what is in it for me? Why would I give you my credit card to you? I have an...- sonny_1080

Is this a ME-BIAS?
MARKETINGMy website has been around for about a year and a half and doesn't have a lot of traffic. In the past 90 days I've had about 600 users. The site brings value to the users in the form of information for a niche service-provider. The business concept is that service providers can claim their...- sonny_1080

Is this extortion?
WEB DESIGNI have a website that allows users to write reviews of businesses and residential homes. Right now, the listings being reviewed can respond freely as long as the listing's provider has an account on the website. I want to charge them to have an account. This means, that they would have to pay...- sonny_1080

"Unscripted" Sub-Section of the Day
MINDSET"Take for instance this old folktale floating around the web. It’s an idealistic sap story implying that money doesn’t buy happiness. It goes like this… An American businessman stood at the pier of a small coastal Mexican village when a small boat with just one fisherman docked. Inside the...- sonny_1080

"Unscripted" Sub-Section of the Day
MINDSET"Threat #1: Mediocre Comfort A real FTE doesn’t care about mediocre comfort. Give a man an OK job that pays just enough to provide mediocre comfort and I’ll show you a man that will keep his job indefinitely. This is by design. In 1926, in an interview published by World’s Work magazine...- sonny_1080

MINDSET"Threat #2: Your Guarded Pride And Ego A real FTE overcomes an insulated ego. I was a C-student in high school, but in college I earned two business degrees, won scholarships, and graduated near the top of my class. Despite such accolades, I was willing to do anything to make my...- sonny_1080

HOT! EXECUTIONI'm in this weird space of "don't chase money, provide value" and "you need sales". I caught myself on the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics looking at economic trends for my next business idea. Then I thought, "my website is not where I want it to be yet." I've made $850 and that was before...- sonny_1080

"Unscripted" Sub-Section of the Day
MINDSET"Something is indeed something. For most people, it’s dismissed as life’s background noise. Others hear the whispers and bury it with weekend merriment. For the rest of us who aren’t easily manipulated, we question it. We seek its source, challenge its presence, and ask, 'What the hell is going...- sonny_1080

QUESTIONI have an online directory. On Google Analytics, I can filter the pages to show only the data for the listings on my directory.
