    How to pitch bloggers/influencers?

    HOT! MARKETING
Always think about the "What's-In-It-For-Me" for the person you're contacting and develop your pitch around that.

Unpopular Opinion: "Give Value for Free" is Bullshit More Often Than Not

    Blue Collar Recession

    HOT!
It's obvious that there's a blatant manipulation of the population. Yesterday I had 2 videos on my Youtube recommendations, one with a woman saying that she would rather stay at home than accepting a 20$/hour job and another woman saying that it's unfair that the CEO made much more money than...

Now for the report: I still need to fix some walls on the maps making weird collisions, but they're done. I had stomach flu and I've been feeling pretty bad since the last update, now I'm back to normal, I've been doing stuff that required low energy and I can go back to whatever I have on my...

I wasn't aware of any of this until I started learning about game development and watching video reviews. I thought it was a punctual thing like the controversies about violence in the 90's and that it would eventually fade away but it has increased quite a lot for the last 5 years. Personally...

I'm uploading videos of my progress to my Youtube channel and linking them to Twitter and my website, I'll check out the Stardew Valley logs to see what could I improve. I'm not investing too much time into writing things because I prefer videos and demos. Depending on how people react this may...

Jordan Peterson is creating own online university to destroy college “indoctrination cults”/Marxism

    HOT!
This is all based on the assumption that brainwashing happens during college and that's incorrect, because young people are already biased before accessing any University. When they're there their beliefs are only reinforced by either alignment or juxtaposition with whatever is preached. What...

-This week's report: The 4 maps are done and imported with textures and materials. I need to create some roofs because there're light leaks all over the place. -To do: Roofs. Game Saves. Proper level progression and end of the level menu. Set a Discord channel. Check relevant subreddits.

Invest in bioengineering to: Find a way to produce animal products (meat, leather) without killing animals. Hunger gone. Make civilized humans immortal by either removing the ageing process from the body or by finding a way to transplant your brain to a younger, stronger body created with your...

    Building a digital entertainment empire

    EXECUTION
Good luck! I think now is a great moment for anyone getting into the entertainment industry because companies are becoming more and more politicied. And when you see the numbers people hate that and stop buying from them. People just want to be entertained. Did you know that there are several...

F*ck This Guy - Tai Lopez

    FUNNY
See? You wrote all of this instead of doing what? You're paying with minutes of your life defending a guy you don't personally know and giving him your attention instead of what matters, which is YOU. Tai Lopez and gurus give awful generalistic advise to become more valuable at the expense of...

F*ck This Guy - Tai Lopez

    FUNNY
No, he isn't. If he was people would go out and read books and stop watching him. Motivation is cause & effect. When you read a book because someone suggested it, that's motivation, you read that book because someone "motivated" it. The word comes from latin and it means something like "the...

F*ck This Guy - Tai Lopez

    FUNNY
That's not true, he isn't motivating anyone, he's getting richer by looking like he's motivating people but if you wanted to read a book you'd just go and do it. That's the thing, people giving attention (and money) to Tai Lopez (or any other guru) are the least likely to be successful because...

F*ck This Guy - Tai Lopez

    FUNNY
Corporations/companies sell products, gurus sell smoke. Edit: Also, I don't think IQ is a good measurement it would better to call it "Entrepeneurial Quoficient", but yes those in the middle of the Whatever Quoficient curve bell are the ones being screwed by gurus because they're looking for...

Getting Rid of Toxic Habit for Good

    MINDSET
I don't know if you already decided a way to break the habit, I recommend you the Rubber Band Technique: The Rubber Band Technique Instead of snapping it you could just switch wrists and make it a goal to keep the rubber band on the same wrist for 30 days. It can take you several months but...

OK thanks. I'll put this on my to-do list for this week. -This week's report: Implement more enemies and the infight system. Done. Update the demo map I made a while ago, release another demo with 10 maps using a procedural map generator and analyze people's feedback about how the gameplay...

Yes there's an upper limit, unfortunately SteamSpy no longer gives accurate information about the number of owners for each game so it's difficult to have good statistics. For what I can remember there're a couple of titles with retro-look launched this year that sold around 20k units. They...
