Millionaire fastlane goodreads group and 52 books in 52 weeks challenge

    BOOKS
I think this is a great idea, I've bookmarked the group and hope you don't mind if I just silently lurk and poke around the group from time to time without actually joining.

Gary Halbert 30 day challenge Copywriting Group

    HOT! MARKETING
I finished copying all the advertisements and reading most of the books. Tomorrow I'm going to turn one of the advertisements into a pseudo-landing page for practice. I'm right now about halfway through the 1994 edition of 7 Steps to Freedom, I think I've gotten most of the lessons out of the...

Need More Time? Make Your Day 25+ Hours Long.

    HOT! MINDSET
Great advice! I deleted some mindless freemium game off my phone recently and I instantly saw an increase in my own productivity. I would never play the game for long, but the five minutes here and then minutes there really added up.

Having trouble making small talk; I don't care about other people

    NOTABLE! PEOPLE
I don't know if this will help, but in my slowlane life I'm amazing at customer service in a retail job. In my non-work life I'm fairly standoffish and have a hard time dealing with small talk. When I'm able to switch my brain into thinking, my job right now is to be a people person: to listen...

    HOT! MARKETING
In the letter after Gary Halbert gave his thirty day challenge he wrote this: Indeed, The First Hundred Million is a book that contains a precise and valid statistical measurement of America's inner most needs and greeds. So why didn't I mention it in last month's newsletter when I listed the...

    My Take on Self-Publishing

    PUBLISHING
I think there are a lot of people out there who can write but either don't have the confidence to publish their own work, or the knowledge of how to market their work to sell so they just sell their skills for a one time payment instead of using their skills as a real asset that might not pay...

    Money Doesn't Matter?

Being positive when you've been angry, negative, or whatever you want to call it for as long as you can remember is really tough. People tell you to just be positive and it sounds like some bull that you're going to have to lie to yourself about. What worked for me was just starting small...

    HOT! MARKETING
I just finished the Robert Collier Letter Book, I wouldn't recommend reading the free pdf version that's pretty easy to find on Google. You really get what you don't pay for-- tons of typos and the lack of formatting is really distracting.

Gary Halbert 30 day challenge Copywriting Group

    HOT! MARKETING
I'm usually amazed at how much I'd forgotten when I go back to a book again, or big points that seem important on a second reading that I didn't seem to have paid much attention to the first time. Has anyone tried taking notes the way that Gary Halbert recommends in the Boron Letters?

I think by not taking notes the first time through he just wants you to get the idea of what is being said in these books and then when you read them a second or third time you will be more receptive to what is important and in a way you'll make your notes more meaningful. I had an English...

I started the Boron Letters before discovering this challenge so I started reading it out of the order listed, I just finished it today. There was more wisdom in those short letters than in a lot of the advice circulating around the internet about starting a business, with the follow your...

    I've Read The Millionaire Fastlane!

    GOLD! HOT!
I read the book two years ago and I got distracted from following through the lessons in it. I just read it a second time two weeks ago and I'm not making the same mistake again. Thanks MJ for the book and this forum!
