Question for all you Web Developers out there...

    WEB DESIGN
Thanks @alexkuzmov Would my plan work then? Get a temporary one year domain, build on that and then when ready contact GoDaddy and make the change. I'm guessing it's something I'll need to do manually rathe than them doing it, is my best bet to search about DNS and changing sites?

Question for all you Web Developers out there...

    WEB DESIGN
Thanks for your reply I bought it through GoDaddy. I figured if I bought a temporary one through them (just a one year one), built the new site on it and then contacted them they just do a switcheroo but it just sounds too simple to me.

Question for all you Web Developers out there...

    WEB DESIGN
Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me, I've searched around on Google and through numerous websites, but I have been unable to locate an answer. I think this may be due to my ignorance of the exact terminology that I should be searching for. I need to switch my website from one "host"...

How not to feel guilty when not doing productive activities?

    MINDSET
There's a term that I've seen thrown around alot and at first I thought it was just another wokism. But the more I read about people feeling guilty about having down time the more I believe it's a real thing. Toxic Productivity I'm not saying this from a ivory tower. I suffer with this...

Do you guys feel envious of those who come from same background as you and are more successful than you?

    MINDSET
It inspires me. If they can do it so can I. It should motivate you, it should give you a reason to keep going, and it should light a fire under your a$$ to get going. Do you know the story of the 4 minute mile? For years and years no one could break the 4 minute mile, many tried and many...

Who's Really There for You? Why You Shouldn't Let Others Hold You Back From Doing What You Want

Great post @MTF. I've come to realise that people who you think are your friends are often not. They don't want you to grow, they don't want you become different, they dont want you to succeed. What they really want is for you to stay the same as them, so that they can validate their life...

    Comparison...

    MINDSET
100% This could quite possibly be the most important line that someone reads. It doesn't just apply to business but to life. You are where you are because of the choices you have made.

    Comparison...

    MINDSET
Yes I wish I could like this more than once. The beauty of having your own business is... It's your business... There's nothing wrong with seeking inspiration and ideas from others but just because it works for them doesn't mean it will work for you.

Entrepreneurship and dating - can they coexist?

    MINDSET
I've been with my Mrs for 15 years, married for 9. I'm 36 and consider myself incredibly fortunate to have met her so early on in life. I see her as my rock, my partner. She is the Yin to my Yang quite literally. My goals and aspirations are different to hers, my tastes and likes are different...

    Golden Nuggets of Wisdom

    MINDSET
@heavy_industry your right on the mark there. 1. The aim is to work smarter, not harder. It's all about the output and impact. Not about how much time you spent to get there. What's more important to a client, the fact you spent 600 hours designing, building, recording, editing and fine tuning...

@heavy_industry I completely get where you are coming from. And I get a lot of value from reading your posts. I can only go off my own experience, maybe I'm not as naturally driven as others, but I found that reading Goggins book pretty mind-blowing. And it worked for me. Other people may not...

When you think your done, you're only 40% spent. There's 60% of you left. Don't stop when you are tired. Stop when you are done. Or words to that effect from David Goggins. If you any someone who never gives up no matter what, he's the man

Are you a perfectionist? STOP THAT COPE RIGHT NOW!!!

    MINDSET HEALTH
There is no such thing as perfect. The more that you strive for it the slower you path to improvement will be. I work of the rule of 80%, if what I produce ia 80% to perfection then it's good to go. I know to make up the next 20% would take me the same amount of time as I have spent getting...

I've been working on a Salesforce Training platform for the last few months and I've gone all in on it this month. Hey Enhancenothing, I've just left my role as a Lead Solution Engineer at Salesforce and heard Slack were heavily impacted with the layoffs in the UK. Have you been impacted?
