What Are Your Experiences With Partnerships?

    SCALING
Is it a PC game? Because if it is you don't need a publisher at all. It's going to be harder to deal with them than doing some marketing by yourself. Check out Chris Zukowski and watch videos with him, he's brilliant. In fact even if you don't release on Steam you should watch his videos...

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Random Chat Thread...

    CHAT - AI -
In the 90's I lived the transition from software rendering to GPU acceleration. I remember when id software announced Quake 3 stating that it would require a GPU tu run and people were pissed  But over time every single game required acceleration, even those that are 2D. Years later...

    HOT! MINDSET
He already responded but let me add something, don't overthink it, it can be anything and it doesn't need to be just one reason. Choose whatever fills you with emotions and creates an irresistible desire to move forward and progress on your journey. For example, let's say you spend too much...

A platforms that bring gamers to indie game developers (for feedback, ideas, ect)

    IDEA
Unless I'm not understanding your idea, Itch.io already does this, you'd have an extremely hard time competing with them IMO.

Hey, you're back? How's it going and what have you been up to?

    STORY
I'm building a metaverse, do you remember those from before everyone went all-in with AI? It was the next big thing! So yeah, I figured that now that no one gives a damn about the metaverse except a bunch of cryptobros I will try to release something myself with zero competitors. It's really...

    LiquidWeb: The Masterclass in Enshittification...

    HOT! NEWSLETTER
Gaming has played a big role in my youth keeping me sane, at a time when it was viewed as something for weirdos and that would make you violent. Now that the industry makes trillions and almost everyone plays games, it's cool, it's mainstream, at the expense of becoming crap filled with...

IMO in the future it will be Google vs all the open-sourced work coming from China, the rest will be left in the dust.

Why Having Multiple Passports Will Soon Be a Financial Flex

    HOT! NEWS
Right now Portugal and Ireland have a 5 year pathway but Portugal is going to extend it to 10 very soon. So Ireland will be the least hard to get EU citizenship. Alternatively, you could become a citizen of a CPLP member like Brazil, Cabo Verde or Sao Tome and then get Portuguese citizenship in...

How to be real & authentic for a self-development YT channel I want to create

    IDEA
Hi, I'll try to be quick. I posponed the whole content creation thing because it was risky. For a long time I've been dealing with pain on my left side because my kidney was not in good shape. The reason is because I was doing intermittent fasting and I wasn't putting in enough calories and...

How to be real & authentic for a self-development YT channel I want to create

    IDEA
Hi, I continued doing research and experimenting because my health was f*cked up and I'm getting some serious improvements. I decided to start sharing what I'm doing because it's going to blow up soon, it's something that it will help a lot of people too and I won't feel like an imposter talking...

    Moving to Bali

    HOT! CHAT
Benidorm is alright, it has a microclimate and the weather is good during all year, it can be a little bit overwhelming during summer with all the tourism, but the rest of the year is great and you can live in some of the neighbouring towns if you prefer quietness. Back to Bali, you know how...

    Moving to Bali

    HOT! CHAT
Well, since you said that you've already visited Thailand and Malaysia I'd start doing research on those, both have Golden Visas. But it's very easy to move to Philippines, you can stay for 36 months with a tourist visa (by doing regular extensions) and English is an official language.

    Moving to Bali

    HOT! CHAT
I've seen people (nomads) on Youtube moving to Bali, I don't know what's the deal. And I don't say this to criticize Indonesia, but if you're willing to move to SEA why not take advantage of the territorial tax systems of the neighbours? Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines; all the money you earn...

Dungeon Generator Plugin (Work in Progress)

    IDEA
I don't know how the Roblox ecosystem works but dungeon generators are everywhere. Maybe you could analyze your competitors and copy them instead of worrying, there's a very popular plugin for Unreal Engine and Unity called Dungeon Architect with great features. Also, if you want to stand out...

How to be real & authentic for a self-development YT channel I want to create

    IDEA
I went through the book "The One Thing" again and I realised that when I created this thread I was having a severe case of shinny object syndrome, so I decided to just write these ideas to my someday/maybe list and focus back on the most important things. Which means that I'm not going to open...

How to be real & authentic for a self-development YT channel I want to create

    IDEA
I've been meditating about this and I'm not going to do personal development stuff for now, I don't think I'd feel comfortable and I'd end up making up excuses and procrastinating. But I found some channels doing "feel-good/motivational" videos and I can do that. There're also a lot of people...

    REAL ESTATE
In Spain this is a big problem. If someone gets into your house they can change the lock, pretend they're renting the place and you'll have to sleep in a hotel and pay a company called Desokupa to get them out because you have no rights in this sh*thole. In some places there're whole buildings...
