    Taking action in E-Commerce

    EXECUTION
What about the benefits of dealing with a wholesaler rather than direct? Shorter shipping times, better communication, less headache, etc. Do those count for anything?

What laptop should a starting online entrepreneur buy?

    HOT!
Don't rule out Chromebooks! I bought one on Black Friday for $200. Acer Chromebook R11. Best $200 ever spent, so simple, like a MacBook, doesn't require maintenance. Has everything you'd pretty much need, even some light photo and video work could be done on this. I can also have access to...

First True Venture into Importing & Growing a Business

    SOURCING EXECUTION
Great thread man. Great job on your progress. I do have a question. What was the main source of finding your manufucturers? Google, Alibaba, etc? And did you find it difficult to find an actual manufucturer rather than just a wholesaler/trader?

Feeling stuck in a rut, any life advice (19 yo)?

    MINDSET RANT
LOL. This is the type of shit you just gotta jump into bro, getting uncomfortable is really what's gonna make you grow. If it doesn't work out, who cares, just quit. It will make you learn about the real world, it will build your common sense. You will discover problems, you'll see how shit...

Anyone here in the CBD industry?

I work for a smoke shop/medical marijuana device distributor right now.. a lot of innovation to be made in this industry, I see new products pop up left and right. I'm looking into jumping into some OEM products and/or private label.

Tonight I Am Going to Die...

    EXECUTION
I suggest listening to "Mini Habits" by Stephen Guise on Audible. I've had a lot of "F*ck this, I'm changing everything" moments too, and they rarely lead to much of anything other than burn out. Having small, stupidly easy habits that you do daily, is really a game changer.

My family always tells me to get a job.

    HOT! MINDSET
Seeing people 2x+ my age sweating their asses off for minimum wage definitely had an effect on the choices I want to be making. Listening to a 50 year old dude brag about his $0.75 pay raise isn't very inspiring.

My family always tells me to get a job.

    HOT! MINDSET
Dude. I'm 20. At 18, right after high-school I got a job in probably the shittiest manufacturing warehouse you could find. They would hire anyone off the street. Felons, no education, etc. People smoking weed behind the building during lunch, prison tough style attitudes. That shit sucked, 60...

Ask me anything about eCommerce (Ongoing)

    GOLD!
I appreciate it.. one more thing, what's your opinion on finding suppliers through Google? For example "wholesale [niche or product]". It seems a lot simpler than Alibaba, and I can even find Chinese suppliers. Although I'm not sure if they're manufacturers... that doesn't matter to me at this...

Ask me anything about eCommerce (Ongoing)

    GOLD!
Yup USA. The products I want to sell falls under Amazon's restricted category, which would mean I need to have a certain amount of Merchant Fulfilled items, and 3 months on Amazon. This is why I rather start with eBay. I can obviously get more units for less money if I order a higher quantity...

Ask me anything about eCommerce (Ongoing)

Okay @biophase so, I recently got another job, I'm making about $300ish weekly, minimal expenses. I can save probably $200-$250 every week for e-commerce purposes. I have no plans to sell on Amazon really, I'm just interested in starting with eBay, and redirecting that traffic to a shopify site...

[AMA] Importing & wholesaling for resale on eBay.

    GOLD! SOURCING
Any experience buying from wholesale distributors? Like if I want to stock my online store with some popular brands, just to be more well rounded. Plus I can deal with U.S. distributors, which is a hell of a lot easier when it comes to shipping and communication. Or if I want China products, I...

Seemed like he took it well, and I got an indirect benefit as well. Sometimes I fall back on the excuse that I want to build more capital or I need to wait until I'm able to get ungated on Amazon. Ordering samples for eBay and starting a basic shopify website these upcoming two weeks.

I actually ran into this on my way at around 5:40, state trooper blocked the 1-275 ramp towards Tampa. Luckily I know the area very well and was able to head towards St. Pete, take an exit, bypass all the traffic and get on Gandy to make it in time.

How much sleep do you get?

    HEALTH
I go to bed at 10PM (sometimes a challenge to be in bed by 10) every night and wake up at 4AM. (6 hours) First thing I do is take a few big gulps gulps of water from the daily gallon to replenish the lack of water from the 6 hours of sleep. This instantly makes you feel more awake. Water is so...
