I hate having a famous name.
INTROWhen I read the title of this thread I couldn't help but think of the movie Office Space. I was worried your name was going to be Michael Bolton. At least Kevin Smith isn't too big, depending on the crowd you know. I've known 2 guys named Michael Jackson (yes, 2!!!) ouch. You're always going...- mws87

Should I or Should I Not - Quit My Job...
OFF-TOPICLike others have said, there is no "right" answer for this being that everyone's situation is different. You shouldn't use the responses to make your decision but better help understand your situation to guide you in what you should do. Only you know what would be best for you. Your situation...- mws87

Wantrepreneur with Billion-Dollar Business Ambitions? READ THIS!
^^^ This made me think of a quote I love from a movie I don't love. In Prometheus, David says - "Big things have small beginnings." It's important to remember this. I have to remind myself of this constantly. I am what you would call an extremely impatient person and have to constantly remember...- mws87

How do I effectively organize my thoughts?
I started by buying a whiteboard and doing a mind map that way. I was really sleepy when I did it and didn't even realize there were mind map apps. For some reason, using the white board had a better effect on me. Try by writing down your small goals first and organizing by which would be the...- mws87

Tinder for mentors and students?
Yes, I'm not 100% certain it was MLM but I am 100% certain it was going to require me investing my money and coming out on the losing team. It's a REALLY long story, really strange too. Don't want to hijack the thread though. I feel like mentors are becoming sort of the new "gold rush". There...- mws87

Tinder for mentors and students?
Ah, yes. This reminds me of a time I was approached in B&N by a random who struck up a conversation with me. Long story short, he was offering mentoring. I passed. Something about it just screamed MLM scheme.- mws87

PROGRESS THREAD: How I quit my Job to pursue a Self-publishing Fastlane Journey
PUBLISHINGI think this would depend on the subject and how precise you want it to be. If you're content is going to be really specific (good), I'd say give them an outline that is as detailed as possible. If you're going for the quantity over quality approach, then you won't have to be very detailed...- mws87

Recommend me a good Wordpress Personal Brand Theme
WEB/DIGITALIf you're efficient with CSS and have experience with child themes, Genesis is pretty good. It's basic and easy to edit. I'm sure there are some decent free themes out there which you can develop child themes through. Do you have any experience coding?- mws87

When you realize you learned nothing these past two years...
HOT!^^^ this reminds me of a friend I have. The guy went to a community college for 8 years... EIGHT!
