Just got married... Now I feel restricted and powerless

    MINDSET RANT
I think it would help to know how far along your wife is at the moment. Is she due anytime in the next few months or is she literally like 1 month pregnant? Before I read you had a baby on the way, I wanted to ask what your wife did. Does she work? If not, how long has she not worked for? If so...

    The struggle for freedom

    INTRO
Good therapists can be hard to come by as well. There are some great ones out there, but some of the ones I've talked to couldn't relate much to me and had no experiences they could share with me. It was as if they were being paid to give me general response from what they learned in school. It...

How Walking in Nature Changes the Brain

    MINDSET
Nature is definitely great for those plagued with an overactive mind (like me). Like @Dwight Schrute said, it provides you with tons of great ideas, probably because you're away from all the distractions. I'm someone who's sanity will start to crumble if I'm indoors for too long. It's weird, I...

    Craigslist, why so popular?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Actually, one of the reasons I like craigslist is because it's simple and to the point. That's probably one of the reasons it's used often here, almost anyone can navigate craigslist. I agree with the annoyance of shady posting, spam and nonsense. Then again, you'll find crap like that in...

    The struggle for freedom

    INTRO
Welcome to the forum. ^^^ this right here says a lot, actually. Most people are far from acknowledging this, so keep in mind that you're one step ahead of most right now. It took me 10 years (yikes!) to finally realize I was holding myself back. Find your vision, accomplish your goals one at...

What would you tell your 18 or 25 year old self?

    GOLD! MINDSET
Couldn't agree with this more. Let's be honest, what usually happens when you try to provide insight to someone in hopes of guiding them in the right direction? Most of the time, they never listen. "I told you so" wouldn't exist if they did. However, if I somehow managed to time-travel and...

50 cents lifestyle is an illusion

Dammit, I was waiting to work the "fuel units" joke in at some point - I blew it. Dude, 50 has bookshelves FOR his bookshelves. I've got to agree with this. I can't feel bad for the consequences brought onto those who make bad/dumb choices.

    Skinnybrown: From Rags to Riches

    EXECUTION
Welcome to the forum! It's nice to have another Bay Area resident here (not sure if there are any others). As previously mentioned, take one step at a time, man. Dealing with chemical dependency can make things seem all the more challenging - I know from previous experience myself. Just...

    Time For Some Accountability!

    EXECUTION
Lesson learned the hard way, my friend. I'm just glad I learned it early on and not in the midst of some crazy 300 page masterpiece. Trying my hardest to do good, man. It definitely takes a lot of self-discipline to stay consistent. When I first started it was definitely easier not to do it. I...

    Time For Some Accountability!

    EXECUTION
Alright, time for a quick update. Had TWO huge lessons regarding control this week. The first actually started last week. I had another title published (a sequel to one of my other works). I went to view the title on Amazon and bam - Title Not Available For Purchase. Only was getting this...

    WTF does Tai Lopez do?

    GURUS
Guys, Tai Lopez isn't real - he's CGI. MJ created him as a part of subtle marketing campaign for FLF and TMF. Tim Ferriss picked up the job but because it took more than 4 hours to do, had the work outsourced and Tai was created by a visual effects freelancer. Duh.

50 cents lifestyle is an illusion

Maybe 50 cent will become a part of TMF sales funnel just like Tai Lopez.

What Is The Official Terminology Called? (How to Learn Anything!)

    NOTABLE!
I think it's still just considered a good old fashioned burned tongue (even from sour stuff - it's acidic). Although, I'm sure there has to be some sort of scientific term for it since there seems to be for everything else.

    WTF does Tai Lopez do?

    GURUS
Ah this is my favorite one, by far. "With only 47 TedX talk where I talk about Warren Buffet in my TedX Talk where I talk about Warren Buffet account" The Starcraft reference at the end was great, too. Haha.

    Time For Some Accountability!

    EXECUTION
Publishing Progress Published another title yesterday (my 3rd fiction) which is a part of a series and seems to be gaining some momentum, slowly but surely. Actually have daily sales now. Although the sales are very, very small, it's encouraging to see my fiction writing is actually making some...

Back to the 9-5...Sales Job Questions

I will tell you this about car sales: depending on the dealership, expect to be there 12 hours a day sometimes. The place I worked at had me there 13 hours a day and sometimes 6 days a week. It really depends on what you want to do man. When you start pulling in $8-$10k a month you won't care...

Back to the 9-5...Sales Job Questions

Well keep in mind that everything doesn't have to be black or white; there's always a gray area. You should always be able to find that 3rd option. It's that area in between, sort of like a compromise. Now, as for my opinion on which I would choose: Are you genuinely looking for my opinion, or...
