One thing I picked up watching an MJ video last year

A great nugget/reminder for all of us. On a slightly different topic, I hope you also have it written down somewhere else.

How to Get Rid of Negative Friends

    HOT! PEOPLE
I can't grasp judging someone negatively because they own businesses and are successful. Is it just jealousy and projection?

    Examples of REALLY effective marketing.

    MARKETING
A good note here is that you should speak the language of the people. But for God's sake, don't try to speak their language. For every success like eBay there's a dozen out-of-touch marketers who think, "Oh memes? Yes lets use these images I found on the internet that kids are using. It'll...

(Radio interview) How to quickly get started in business

    NOTABLE! MARKETING
I really loved this interview. I know that I'm particularly guilty of falling into the trap of viewing every interaction with a client (currently freelancing) as a transaction. When speaking I tend to approach "What can I do for this person, in exchange for money." Instead, I should view every...

    Time Tracking

    MINDSET
Thanks for the recommendation of Newsfeed blocker! I like that I can keep my messages going (It's the main way I talk to the girlfriend) but it stops me from scrolling. Also. My blood pressure thanks you.

    The Rising Millionaire

    INTRO
Two things. One is that I'd personally just chalk the payment up to a learning experience. $30 as an everlasting reminder to always double check your calculations. And, it's better than the same mistake costing $1000. Also, if you had asked the guy it may have offended or bothered him. Possibly...

Not much, but rep+ for the awesome report.

How do you know when to throw in the towell?

Well your product looks good. I can think of a few people who'd love to have a few of them for their stuff. A few things I can suggest (and take whatever I say with grain(s) of salt). 1) It looks like your pushing a practical idea (protect your phone, no sand or grit in the phone, etc) for a...

Bootstrapping and Flipping on Craigslist Self-Employed Work from Home'

    HOT!
While I'm not sure how long you've been waiting, don't be afraid to give it some time. One thing I've learned from working with clients is that people take their sweet time to get back to you. I've put in proposals and offers, completely forgotten about them, and then a week later got an offer...

Pokemon Go Game Discussion - Opportunities?

    HOT!
That's true. In person is more powerful, and definitely give more strength for impulse buys. I guess what threw me off was the crappy part, but in person may give enough of an advantage. I love that picture. It's all I think of everytime I see empty tip jars.

Pokemon Go Game Discussion - Opportunities?

    HOT!
So, since there are a few people mentioning lures and stuff. A bit of an explanation. The game has 'Pokestops' and 'Gyms'. Pokestops give the players items, Gyms lets them fight for their team. Both are already set in the game and you cannot set up your own Pokestop or gym. You can only use a...

Well that sounds terrible. Am I not allowed to play Paintball? Or read fun books? Watch the things I want to watch? Isn't one of the points of the Fastlane Lifestyle the freedom to do what you want?

Need something to replace social media with.

    MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIA
So it sounds like you're looking for something to replace those random bits of downtime you have that most people use to browse Facebook. If it's possible, I highly suggest keeping a book on you. It doesn't need to be a textbook or a massive tome. Keep a paperback or a small hardback on...

Pokemon Go Game Discussion - Opportunities?

    HOT!
Half of my campus plays. Hell, I play a little bit too. Most playing it, I've noticed it, are people 18-28 who grew up with Pokemon. It's a good blast of nostalgia for them, makes them relive fond memories, and it gets a lot of people interacting with other people, sharing stories and such. I...
