@nzott Great thread and advice in here from you about starting a cleaning service business, thanks. I'm looking into different businesses I can potentially start myself, and am currently researching the cleaning industry. Did you have any experience working as a cleaner / maid yourself before...

True I need to sit down and really focus on writing down my goals. I've been thinking about that recently and just wrote down a few things yesterday that I need to really focus on, this is what I wrote down... What's your purpose in life? How do you want to be remembered after you're gone...

    Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather

    OFF-TOPIC
Mayweather would never agree to an MMA match, he has far too much pride to be humiliated and pummeled so easily in front of millions.

Edit: I'll put this in the OP also My brief life story. My name is Adam, I'm 32 years old and originally from the state of Virginia where I grew up in the beautiful blue ridge mountains with my twin brother, two sisters, and parents. Some of my most fond memories are of me and my brother...

    Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather

    OFF-TOPIC
Would be nice to see McGregor shock the world and give Mayweather his first loss, in McGregor's first pro boxing match. It would tarnish Mayweather's legacy. :)

I just thought of something, I delivered a washer dryer set to someone who told me he flipped Apple MacBooks almost exclusively and said he made good money doing it. That might be something someone reading this can investigate and try out. I may at some point myself.

I'm sorry you feel that way, I am trying to learn from others yes but I also shared some good information that I think can help others. Also if anyone has any questions about the process of what I'm currently doing, flipping washers and dryers, or anything else just ask. Good quote. What line...

That would be a useful book to read, but I wouldn't use it myself to manipulate others for self gain, only to understand that kind of thinking. I would rather live a normal existence than step on others to make it to the top of the mountain. Yea that looks like it would be an awesome place to...

Yea it sucks, there are some rough people out there in the world.... I read this book recently and it's an eye opener... https://www.amazon.com/dp/1572304510/?tag=tff-amazonparser-20 A book I'd like to read next is the Prince by Machiavelli. It's good to be aware of such people in the world...

Oh so you were doing a lot of retail arbitrage? What made you the most money with this, clothes, toys? I've read some stuff about flipping phones but it seems there's a bigger chance of getting robbed, or stolen, crappy goods. As well as a lot of competition. The reason I got into washer &...

Did you buy and sell mostly locally with craigslist, offerup, etc. Or ebay amazon? If you did it locally, do you live in a mega city like NY or LA with more people with more opportunities for transactions?

Not much my friend, I'm currently bootstrapping by selling used washers and dryers averaging $1,000 per week. I then plan to move onto starting a business and investing once enough capital is saved.

I read the synopsis of both books and watched an animated summary of the Millionaire Fastlane. I agree with the premise of the books... it sucks working for a jack a$$ boss for a crappy wage that controls when, where, and how long you have to be at a job you don't enjoy. Life is too short for...
