Your First 100 Million by Dan Pena

    BOOKS
Well, I actually bought MJ's book once in kindle then in print because...I knew enough to know he knew what he was talking about. Having said that, can anyone send me a reputable file/link to download Dan's book :D. I will buy it if its solid and worth the money, if not, well I will trash the...

"Thinking about starting a business? Here is why you shouldn’t!"

I see your point as well. Being positive is important, its great in fact, but it does not change math; however, if your odds are increased by making multiple attempts at a particular activity then being positive may help. Being positive may help by encouraging you to make the attempt in the...

Odds have nothing to do with attitude. Does it matter if you are positive or negative when you pull the lever on a slot machine?

"Thinking about starting a business? Here is why you shouldn’t!"

Hmmm....I think this article could be spun around. He says: You don’t have one boss, you have multiple bosses I say with A Job: You don't have one boss you, you have multiple bosses. He says: You don’t get to set your own hours. I say with a Job: You don't get to set your own hours. He Says...

MJ do you have any opinions on ezines vs. newsletters? Why do you think several of the large magazines are going under; filing for bankruptcy? It seems like if it was just a matter of shifting to an online model they would do it; is it just poor content, are people spending their time on...

To the people out of the rat race, what's the new plan?

Bump. Great oldie. I would like to believe this but when I do this I get too many stab wounds lol. I am sure this poster is long gone so any opinions on this? I think the underlying point is that entrepreneurs need to be more selfless in order to create/give value?

Everyone wants to be your "friend" until you ask for upfront payment.....

    OFF-TOPIC
No good dead goes unpunished....but perhaps I have met all the wrong people? I try to stay positive but that gets me screwed normally. Most people are just bums and takers, they have no intention of reciprocity, even if you went out on a limb for them. Although, I think that is what makes...

Free Shipping High Price, No Free Shipping Low Price for Tea?

    MARKETING
Free shipping is difficult to implement and control costs. I agree with Alana, if its a specialty item, free shipping has little value in my mind.

Lots of opinions but I think its freedom all around. Some see freedom in 1 million in the bank. Some see freedom as 20k per month (whatever the number) with some passive aspect. I am the million in the bank type of person. Its not only a goal it frees up time, you have resources available...

Actually the USPS now offers physical street addresses when you rent a PO box, its extra and you have to ask for it, but it costs very little; I checked a couple months ago. I don't use UPS mail service, personally I don't trust minimum wage employees that come and go like the wind at UPS with...

"Just be glad you have a job!"

The most important thing is your health ;). Even if you are unemployed it could be worse right? I mean you could be terminally ill and not able to pay your medical bills, not uncommon today. I find this fascinating on many levels. For example, its is said that Howard Schultz went to over 240 banks before he got money. Its like when is the cutoff. This happens with so many entrepreneurs. If he just went to 200 banks and quit maybe we wouldn't have had Starbucks. Most "rational"...
