    So a week of running some image ads on FB = CPC for best ads is 1 - 1.1 USD and CTR is 4 - 4.5%. Doesn't seem too bad right? I guess that means my product ain't up to scratch (as others alluded @MitchC) Back to the drawing board!

    I appreciate the feedback. My target market is men as I've noticed most of the journal/ diary products are aimed at women, so I'd love to help out other men get into the journaling habit. With the journal the uniqueness is the prompts inside but that's hard to convey without good marketing...

    Do these exist? I'm thinking about an automated lightbox. Put the product, say a pen in the lightbox, and photos are taken with the built-in camera, which are then uploaded to the website for sale.

    And if you don't want to see a therapist, another place you can turn to is a men's group. Sometimes it's nice to talk out the problems amongst peers without any judgement. It also helps to turn from "my life sucks" to "how can I help this person next to me".
