Is a real estate license worth getting?

    REAL ESTATE
I like the quote. Can you back up your advice though? Did you buy 3-10 units your first month and then the next months afterwards, and still doing the same today?

Is a real estate license worth getting?

    REAL ESTATE
Great video, that was exactly my train of thought getting into real estate. I think you meant "you need to buy 3-10 units in a year?"...no? Telling someone they need to buy 40-120 units in a single year as a beginner RE investor is a bit unreasonable.

Is a real estate license worth getting?

    REAL ESTATE
I was only the Realtor in one of these transactions. Even with no commission on these investments it would be worth it, so I just consider the commission as an added bonus. On my first purchase, a house I converted into a college rental house, the purchase price was $375k and I made about $8k...

Is a real estate license worth getting?

    REAL ESTATE
As far as getting your license for Real Estate Income: Get with a GREAT brokerage. The brokerage I'm with, the average Realtor NETS 100k in the first year of Real Estate, one of my partners is on his 2nd year and has already surpassed that a little over halfway through the year (on course to...

    Monetary Goals (Do They Work?)

I think monetary goals are a celebration point or your "mission" to work towards. Small steps, with the monetary goal in mind, I believe is key. Here's what my whiteboard looks like right now: Business - Draft ideas for online business system Investments - Buy third investment property...

Freshly Single and it Feels like Shit

    HOT! PEOPLE
If there's one thing that helped me hugely with getting over my last breakup, it was reading The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida. Not only is this a good read for everyone, but especially after a serious breakup. It will be a huge eye opener. I've used this to get on the best path...

Questions about Passive Money System from TFL Book...

I appreciate all the feedback. The 30-40% returns I'm referring to are rent-to-own investments where I would receive a large initial deposit from the renter (usually 25k-50k non-refundable) that ensures they'll fulfil the term or they forfeit all of this money and I keep the house. I think I...

Questions about Passive Money System from TFL Book...

Haha agreed low risk low yield is for grandpas! I'm trying to grasp this part in the book and wondering about MJ's philosophy for doing this.

    Rent-to-Own investing as Intentional Iteration

    REAL ESTATE
Hi guys, I'm a huge fan of the fastlane philosophy and would like to branch out and start something online soon. I have a question about a particular fastlane strategy that I'm just getting into. I'm a Realtor at the moment and also make about $2,000 passive income (net) through my current...

Questions about Passive Money System from TFL Book...

Hey guys, I just went through my business system & money system targets from TFL book and I really like the idea. My question is though, is it counter-productive to put money away at, say 5-7% interest when I could be using that money as leverage, or putting it in investments that yield a...

    Real Estate: What's Your Style?

    REAL ESTATE
I just became an investor in a rent-to-own property and I've gotta say it seems like the most stress-free form of real estate out there. There is a fair amount of monthly cashflow for a few years, and then when they purchase the house you receive a payout (usually in the 10's of thousands)...

    Rich Dad, Real Estate, Etc

    EXECUTION
I read "The ABC's to Real Estate Investing" by RichDad group about 5 years ago and was a big fan of Rich Dad philosophy. I was seriously interested in Real Estate and didn't know how to start. The best advice I'd give if you want to invest in Real Estate is get in the game and find a mentor...
