    Those spikes are very common when a new coin gets onto an exchange. You want to buy before it gets on and be one of the first to sell in the mad initial rush. I made some nice profit with moon yesterday by selling into the initial rush.

You put your coins up for sale at your chosen price, buyers pay the lowest asking price, the exchange deposits them...
