Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?

    GOLD! HOT! CHAT
I did wonder as I was typing my reply. The YouTube Ads book is on my pile to read. I've been considering testing the water with some ads, but I'm currently deep into an audit of my website. I've realised 50% of the posts now get 0 traffic and very few impressions. The world has shifted, and my...

Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?

    GOLD! HOT! CHAT
The difference is that you can tightly target video ads to your ideal prospects, use remarketing and guarantee eyeballs on your ad video. Post regular videos, and you lose control over who sees them, or if they see them at all. Go to your Analytics in YouTube Studio and click the Audience Tab...

How do you decide whether to suck it up and learn to code or to rely on outside help to customize WordPress E-commerce website?

    HOT! QUESTION
That's true, but it's also easy to let it get out of hand. I've also seen countless people hide behind needing to fix their website rather than building their first offer. You don't have a business until you sell something.

I have to agree with you. If you want to use YouTube for business generation, I think you need to demonstrate you can deliver value. It doesn't matter if you get 1,000 views rather than 100,000 when you get more of the right people engaging with you from the 1,000 views video. But more...

How do you decide whether to suck it up and learn to code or to rely on outside help to customize WordPress E-commerce website?

    HOT! QUESTION
I do all my own website development because I enjoy it. I have tried hiring people in the past, but a lot are worse than I am. I also resent paying for something only to be asked to pay again for fixes. I had an IT background and used to do development back in the 80's. The languages have...

Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?

    GOLD! HOT! CHAT
Last Week I wanted to replace the Instagram feed on my website with a static image gallery. The gallery page isn't part of my business model and generates only occasional sales. This is now built and live, saving me around $100 a year on an unnecessary plugin. This Week I'll focus my...

I noticed it got argumentative with me when I said I wasn't following its advice, even though its code wouldn't work on my website. It's starting to feel like a real employee.

Well done. Try filming a practice pitch to a friend and then watch it back. You can learn a lot in this way, and the camera doesn't lie.

I'm Making An App With GPT - And it's working!

    HOT! IDEA
I think that's the one. Here's a link to their webpage: Promptsmart I didn't buy from them but got it on the Apple App Store. I notice they have a lot of subscription series but I don't use them. I just bought the app. I write my script in Word and save it to my iCloud or OneDrive account. I...

I'm Making An App With GPT - And it's working!

    HOT! IDEA
You've made impressive progress, but I think a Teleprompter App is a great investment for someone recording on a smartphone. It saves a lot of time in editing later and makes speaking on camera easier for a lot of people. The downside is that you need to develop the skills to make it sound like...

Last Week I had a few objectives: Deliver a series of videos (+20) for a client. An unexpected rush job that came in over the weekend. Done, but it took three days' work rather than one. Plan and schedule my Black Friday sales, and create my promotional materials. Done and implemented...

Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?

    GOLD! HOT! CHAT
Last Week I managed my one big thing: bringing my business planning back under control after taking a month off (planned) and another month, much of which was without internet - not good for an internet-based business. This Week I have a few things that I must finish this week to stay on track...

Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?

    GOLD! HOT! CHAT
I've been completely messed up for the past couple of months. I spent several weeks on a road trip around Southern Africa with minimal internet access. Then, when I got back, I lost the internet in my office for a couple of weeks. I'm now struggling to get over the disruption with urgent client...

Nice video, and you nailed the audio quality. Interesting feedback from Google. I've been using ChatGPT for something similar. I uploaded my entire analytics history and had it analyse the performance - it made some good suggestions for future content. I must try it with Gems as well. Thanks for...
