I just did a binge today on pretty much all of the stickied posts. Not all were gold exactly, but there was plenty there after a bit of sifting. Sadly, I didn't keep good track of the especially useful posts I ran into, but hitting the stickies is a great start.

Continue as a soccer agent or time to move on?

    MINDSET
Are you making progress? Compared to where you were 1 and 2 years ago, how much closer are you now to being in a position where you can actually start signing players? Do you know exactly what you need to do to close that gap? If, after 2 years, you don't know what you need to do to move...

    Fastlane through game/app development?

No one can really answer that for you, but if it were me, I would start by deciding exactly where I want to go. Once you know what your end goal is, you can try to make everything else in your life support that goal. In some cases, working in a normal job can be a great learning experience...

    Fastlane through game/app development?

There are a few of us who are or have been in the industry or have released indie games, though not very many, and I don't think any of us have had any terribly useful entrepreneurial success with it (that I know of at least, though I'd be very happy to be wrong about that one). Most indie devs...

    In Defense of Wealth

http://themusingsofthebigredcar.com/in-defense-of-wealth/ It's nothing new to most of us here, but it's a great post nonetheless, so I thought it might be good to give it a plug. JLM is a great poster/commenter who I became familiar with via Fred Wilson's blog (another great read: avc.com)...

    EXECUTION
Backed! Seems like a reasonable enough amount to ask for that you have the potential to hit some serious multiples if you can get some traction behind the campaign in the next few days. Any more videos planned? You could maybe drip in some short, coaching-type videos or testimonials. Adding a...

The next internet revolution - money for the masses

This sort of thing is really big in other countries. In the US, most of us think it's crazy not to have a credit/debit card, but those things aren't as common in many other places. OP should go and research non-card payment methods in other countries. It may be possible to emulate some of...

    Nootropics & I (Progress Thread)

    EXECUTION
I tried ciltep + phenylpiracitam last week. I've tried some of the other racetams before and never really noticed any results. This was HIGHLY noticeable. It felt more like an execution tool than something you'd use regularly though. You definitely have to make sure that the thing you're...

Ah sorry, didn't notice that that was an Insider thread. It's a fairly short thread about geoarbitrage, or mainly living somewhere cheap while making your money somewhere that isn't.

Heya, it's great to have some more people interested in perpetual traveling! In case you haven't noticed them, we've had a couple of recent threads that you might find relevant. https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/community/threads/any-expats-here-geoarbitrage.50721/...

If you back a Kickstarter project that sells for $2 billion, do you deserve to get rich?

    INVESTING
Do you deserve to get rich for buying an Xbox? People that backed the project got the product that they were promised. End of story. Sure, the opinion of one's existing fanbase/customers should inform a company's business decisions, but they shouldn't control them. Hell, the backers should...

Does anybody else get depressed after seeing entrepreneurial successes?

    HOT! FTE
To be honest, I have mixed feelings when seeing others' success, especially when that person is younger (which is pretty much everyone I see having success now hehe). On the positive side, it gives me encouragement because it shows me that it's possible, and it gives me an example that I can...

Ever wonder why some people get fat?

    HOT!
You don't really care about "some people" do you? That's a very anecdote-seek way to phrase the question. How about "why is such a high % of the American population fat?" Because food is delicious? Because instinct drives us to stuff ourselves in times of plenty so we don't starve in times of...

    Interesting day for game developers

    WEB/DIGITAL
Ya, the internet is surly about it, and maybe understandably so. They've probably burnt their fanboys, but it doesn't really matter though. As a new startup (especially one that was chasing funding), they really needed people with an irrational passion for the company. For better or worse...

    Interesting day for game developers

    WEB/DIGITAL
Well, considering that Oculus acquisition, it may be exactly the kind of game we're talking about hehe. But in reality, I still think that browser sim/strategy games might be one of the most sane game-types to make. They're relatively cheap to make, target users that aren't as easily catered...

    Interesting day for game developers

    WEB/DIGITAL
I know everyone here is all about outsourcing, but imo, hiring someone else to make a game for you is almost always a recipe for disaster, especially if you've never made one yourself. Hell, it's usually a disaster even when everyone has lots of experience :)
