Ketchapp: Beautiful start and a fantastic exit. Your thoughts?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Ketchapp is a pioneer in the App Store without a doubt, and it's due to their strategy of launching fast, testing, and moving on to what works and using their huge pool of users to market their games. I don't know about them "copying" anything, since the idea for a game isn't as important as...

Revolutionary Road: The Slowlane in the '50s

    SLOWLANE
Really strange that you mentioned this movie all of a sudden... A friend was just rereading The Millionaire Fastlane and he decided to watch this movie since MJ mentioned this in the book, and I just watched this on Friday... One of the most depressing movies I've ever seen. Yea man you have...

    Question to my Programming Entrepreneurs

Like many other users posted here, learning coding yourself is probably the most efficient path to take in terms of saving time, learning what you need vs. trying to learn everything about coding, and it would be cost effective as well. I learned a lot of Objective-C the same way; decide to...

Dont be this guy, my friends

    MINDSET
Saw this a few years ago and to this day it breaks my heart to see this, because at one point or another we've all been this guy; believing in something for our freedom that isn't accurate when it comes to creating wealth. Even though watching something like this may seem funny at first and...

Hit the quarter life crisis - need advice

    MINDSET RANT
Agreed with going into a market regardless of passion, that's why I specifically said it must have a need, and should meet the CENTS principles. The passion part is just there because if there is something @N.Entrepreneur particularly likes and there is a good need for it(though it's highly...

Hit the quarter life crisis - need advice

    MINDSET RANT
Your situation sounds very similar to mine bro, finishing my accounting degree up and had no interest in it either( I did it because it was a "safety net" in a sort), and it's a huge anchor in my life. I went through the quarter life crisis just recently as well where I felt I was losing myself...

    Advice for improving your Business

Have you read the book this forum is about? That should help open a lot of doors to what you're trying to achieve. From what I understand you want to make a hot product, not a commodity like every other company and have your product stand out. There are too many variables to answer that since...

    Changes to the Apple appstore

    WEB/DIGITAL
Yea it does look good as long as devs can maintain user retention in those apps long enough, can't say what this means for devs exactly yet, but hopefully it should become apparent soon enough!

What did you wish you were told when you were younger

Might sound kinda lame, but don't skip classes and finish schooling, do NOT try to impress your peers by being a "rebel"... Sounds very common and you've heard this a million times, but let me tell you that your actions will effect you as you grow older. If you decide to skip classes, you'll...

    Success is like being pregnant

    FUNNY
Funny how a guy who recently had an app in the top charts said the same thing to me a while ago, maybe this is a sign I need to be getting f#@$ed more often...

    My Darkest Days

    MINDSET
Yea bud I understood that your brother was thankfully healthy, I just meant that the scare of it was enough to get to a person's nerves, good to know he's healthy man. and bud I can totally related to this post you made, and I've been through the same pit you describe, except for me it wasn't...

    My Darkest Days

    MINDSET
Damn man, that kind of darkness is enough to kill a person's drive and turn them to despair, but to see you rise out of that chaos is very humbling. I had a like a PTSD flashback where you mentioned this part, I know how brutal it feels, to be half-asleep and feel just pure peace, and slowly...

    I Fear Comfort

    MINDSET
Very cool take on the things we feel man, putting them in a different perspective, especially with the whole aspect of "struggle". One thing I have noticed with veteran entrepreneurs is the same pattern of how they were struggling when they started out, then they burned out, then reinvented...
