HOT! CHATI blame the audience for this. My brother was in a rock band and they would play 95% originals, and then the odd Tom Petty or Black Sabbath (think Paranoid or Iron Man) song. The audience is morons, all they want are mindless radio songs. As soon as you throw on an original no one wants to...- GPM

Cryptocurrency GPU mining
HOT! CRYPTO INVESTINGThe Ethereum merge, Eth 2.0, is happening sometime today or tomorrow. That means Ethereum mining is dead and gone essentially as of right now. As hashing power moves away from Ethereum and onto the alts the difficulty is SPIKING on those coins. Alt coins that are Proof of Work are also going...- GPM

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATSome of the dumbest people I grew up with ended up in the teaching profession. So yea, I'd say there are a ton getting paid more than they should. However, there are some really great ones who could probably due to get paid more. Either way, you can't just show up to a job and follow the laid...- GPM

Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency Discussion (And Predictions)
HOT! CRYPTO CHATFor anyone following, the Ethereum 2.0 event happens this week. The mining hashrate on Ethereum is tanking, and the other popular proof-of-work coins are going crazy. The difficulty on the other coins are shooting up like mad, and the payouts on all of them are less than half of where they were...- GPM

Crypto ATMs, what do you know about it and who’s doing it?
CRYPTO QUESTIONI have seen a few, but like @Ing stated the fees are absolutely insane. I don't understand why anyone would use one. Maybe because they don't require your details to get crypto? If you are really worried you could find locals and do cash trades. So yea, I could see how they would be referred...- GPM

Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency Discussion (And Predictions)
HOT! CRYPTO CHATWow! That is nuts. I have looked at a few of those "mining pools" where they pool money to buy equipment and you get a share of the revenue. Not looked at them to invest, but looked at them to see their costs and payouts. I know a guy that has invested a lot into one that looks like a pyramid...- GPM

WINTER IS COMING: European Winter of '22
HOT! OFF-TOPICThis is a man made issue, and the government won't solve it. Any action they take will compound issues. The real solution if anyone were to ask me, which they won't, would be to let the market decide. If there is natural gas and nuclear competing for your dollars, the most efficient and...- GPM

HOT! CHATMy mother in law is an old a$$ Mexican lady like that (haha, she won't ever read this), who makes the most bonkers good salsas and traditional Mexican food. I want to do videos of all her cooking recipes. Not for YouTube and monitization, but for preservation and for the family to enjoy when she...- GPM

HOT! CHATMy wife was looking for some toddler clothes in a second hand store and came across this gem! I'd love to have lots of classic posters like this in the theater room, complete with shelves of alien figurines and stuff. I am totally going to nerd out.- GPM

HOT! OFF-TOPICWow. So they can theoretically already do it. So let's just give them more power to make it all that much easier! Makes sense! Let's just go back to kings and serf's while we are at it, and everyone can be told exactly what to do all the time.- GPM

HOT! CHATJust got back from the mountains (biking). I went with my brother and we both tried our first ever decent sized drop. I had a blast... My brother on the other hand managed to crash and land straight onto his phone and bent it like a taco shell, rip his pants, destroy his gloves, and mess up his...- GPM

HOT! CHATI just watched the Elvis movie. These shows break my heart every time. Everytime there is a star is seems there are leaches just waiting to suck them dry. Much like when you hear about realtives that no one even knows about calling you up if they discover you won the lottery.- GPM

WINTER IS COMING: European Winter of '22
HOT! OFF-TOPICSounds like a government solution to a government problem. I am sure nothing would ever backfire by doing that! That is a good way to have companies walk away from assets, have the government nationalize them, and blame the whole thing on greedy capitalists. Nothing bad could ever come from that!- GPM
