I found a need, and I shall exploit it!

    EXECUTION
When you're comparing Referral Fee Vs. Subscription you're not looking at it right. It should equate to the same anyway. All it comes down to is a balance - either you're making more money, or the supplier is saving more money, you can't have both. If you have 200 leads in a month, and you...

    Sydney Meetup

    MEETUPS
Just come along and soak it up then. I haven't been to a Fastlane Meetup, but I've been to similar events, and it's just a chat, discussion of business ideas and throwing stuff around. I know personally I have business ideas I wouldn't throw into a forum due to it being an unnecessary risk...

Got Money, Got Skills, Got NOOOO business idea!

    IDEA
Unfortunately nobody is going to hand it to you. You need to find a genuine need to solve, not jump on the "Me too" bandwagon of entrepreneurship. I'm in a similar spot to you right now, and finding the right idea is all a part of the process. Whenever you hear someone complaining, start...

Why is it OK for you to STEAL from me?

    HOT! PEOPLE
I see your point, but you're completely neglecting the end advertisers point of view. It seems a bit hypocritical to be honest. These users couldn't give a damn about your goals, just like you clearly don't give a damn about your advertisers goals - and you know what, that's fine! At the end...

    MEETUPS
@bane is my biz partner, I'll let him know if he doesn't see this. I'll whack it in the calendar!

    Sydney Meetup

    MEETUPS
I think Friday would be best, that way we can have a few drinks or whatever and not worry too much about work the next day (for those of us stuck in the slowlane haha)

    Sydney Meetup

    MEETUPS
I'll do the trip from Newcastle, have a couple of friends that will too, both on the track to be Fastlaners.

(SEO Fastlane) Would this be helpful to you?

    HOT!
I don't know why everyone has to flame the guy when he's yet to try and sell something, and has had some decent threads. I used to be a sales guy for the #1 SEO company in Australia, they actually ranked for "SEO" for like 5 years in Australia. I know better than 99% of SEO guys out there how...

The amazing magic of taking action

Not a problem at all BigGuns! I'm always here to help mate. That goes for everyone on the forum, I'm here to help!

What are peoples thought on Modafinil?

    HOT!
I've taken it, got a lot done. My tolerance built up very quickly. You need to be motivated first, and it will give you laser focus. If you don't have plenty of work to do, it's just going to throw out your sleeping patterns.

    Best way to learn SEO

    MARKETING
Jump on forums and get involved, experiment, it takes a long time. In saying that, I'm very experienced in SEO (Have ranked in some very tough niches) and I will NEVER build a business reliant on SEO for it's survival. It fails the commandment of Control, Google is in control, and is constantly...

ACCESS ONLY: People who make $1000 a week or more independently

    EXECUTION
I'm a real estate agent - this isn't a shortcut to wealth unfortunately. I'm one year in, and am only just starting to make good money now, it's a slow burn building a reputation and learning the ropes.

Realistically, is there still money in publishing mobile apps?

    SAAS / APPS
Unfortunately saying "I want to build an app" is a "Me Too!" kind of business approach. As the barrier for Entry has lowered (due to more app developers out there, and more resources on how to do it), competition has risen. An App is a platform to solve a need, if you're still solving a genuine...

Buying a domain name from go-daddy

    WEB/DIGITAL
Don't ever search for a domain name off them then not buy it. I've heard PLENTY of stories of domains getting snatched up the next day like this, then being charged a premium to buy it off the new owner. This has happened with peoples full names .etc as the domain name, definitely not coincidence.

Dane Maxwell AMA-- SaaS, Membership Sites, The Foundation

    NOTABLE! SAAS / APPS EXECUTION
You're 42, have an obvious belief that you're successful - yet you still couldn't take anything useful out of this thread? Perhaps you're much smarter, more talented, educated and experienced than all of us. Or perhaps you're a 42 year old with a superiority complex that likes to start fights...

Ideas For New Website -Think Tank

    IDEA
I own Zyzz.com.au and was the Ghost-writer for Zyzz's Bodybuilding Bible. Have a huge email list from it that is very responsive until it comes time to spend some cash ;) It's definitely a growing movement, the whole bodybuilding lifestyle is, and the misc side of it is booming - but from my...

Ideas For New Website -Think Tank

    IDEA
So are you targeting the demographic that actually uses this lingo? Like the guys that are on the Misc category on bodybuilding.com saying "I'm gonna end up CEO'in 10k/day with my supplement business brah". I've tried marketing to these guys. They don't have any money, and they won't part with...

I have bought 50 lifeproof cases and now i have no way to sell them

    HOT!
That's the thing about status symbols though, they aren't just there to show people who already know you're successful that fact - they're to show the world. If MJ walks down the street, he wouldn't get recognized, and if he was wearing a Rolex I can imagine a number of people would question...

I have bought 50 lifeproof cases and now i have no way to sell them

    HOT!
It's one of those funny things about piracy, it's probably made Rolex's even more desirable, and been excellent marketing for Rolex. Much like Game Of Thrones makes more money due to piracy (they publicly endorsed it). I also believe piracy has helped industry standards such as Photoshop become...
