    MINDSET
You've shared your story, so it's only fair that I share mine :) My goal: own my own home, and live relatively debt free (I'm 27 Yr old at time of writing this) I broke down my goal, and figured out how far I needed to go to achieve it, and then went there, and quit (as per the plan) The...

    IDEA
Sometimes it takes someone to re-word/reformat something for people to read it, when that happens they become aware of the new options that are out there (which in hind-sight they should have seen before) I've just started looking at wood-working as a hobby, I thought wood-working is...

    Unsaturated Markets

I'd love to see this spreadsheet! I don't know where you store the sheet, but if you put it on Google sheets or something like that then people can look at it in real-time and you can keep updating it :)

Does this go against the commandment of CONTROL?

We had a company do that to us this week, they said, and I quote "we started this product using this certain material, sent out promos, and immediately sold 100+ pcs in assorted colors, and then we figured out that we need to upgrade the material involved, can you help?" Our answer? Yes...

Does this go against the commandment of CONTROL?

As PizzaOnTheRoof said, having a wrench in the gears with a 1,000 customers is a LOT easier than with 0 customers. Basically, the more customers you have the bigger the gears are, so a measly little wrench is but a tiny bump :)

The only difference that a trade agreement would make (for my business) is whether or not we need to pay tariffs. After that it looks something like this: ___________________________________________________________ China cost: cost per item + ___ % tariff + shipping cost per piece = landed...

That would be too much work (or so they think) Here is the math for a fictional product: Men's belt - hypothetically, you can sell this belt for $50 due to it's sheer awesomeness. The Manufacturer's cost if he makes one at a time: $12.50 - selling for $50.00 each The Manufacturer's cost if he...

Never let a good crisis go to waste

    OFF-TOPIC
Thoughts after my last reply: when everyone gets their stimulus $$$, will prices go up? When few people are working, that means the few people that are working will be getting paid for work plus getting stimulus $$$??? Which could basically double their income... This could be a massive...

My experience: grew up in the family biz (started when I was 3 or 4, taking hardware out of bags), and now run the day-to-day operations in the office. 2? years ago, bought 15% of the biz, just to start paying attention to the numbers a bit more. Now? Happy I did it, it pays well, and I'm...
