How can I get rich with my drawing skills?

    HOT!
Read Scott Adams "How to Fail at Almost Everything..." He is the creator of Dilbert, and talks about the idea of a Talent Stack. He was an okay drawer, decently funny, and knew what working in an office was like. He combined these talents to become a world famous cartoonist. There is no way to...

Before I quit my Full Time Job

I have a cleaning company and have struggled to grow it while working full-time, so I'm going to quit or at least go part-time at the end of August/early September. With a full-time focus, I believe I can build this business to $80k/month within 2 years. I am planning to offer my employer that...

Can anyone recommend a growth hacking agency?

I don't. But I doubt that any good one is even remotely affordable.

What's going on with Elon Musk? Eccentric or going mad?

    HOT! PEOPLE
The chances that this guy Elon called a "pedo" is actually a pedophile.... are surprisingly high. I assume Elon has a reason for calling him that (could be that he met him & got a weird vibe, or heard others there talk about him, etc) plus other known factors about Thailand - given that, I'd...

Starting (and Fastlaning) a lawn care service business

    GOLD! HOT!
Yes, seems like an easy, high $ sale to the right customers. I hadn't heard of them but it looks like that is what they do.

These jobs are more profitable but less scalable. It's a trade-off.

Starting (and Fastlaning) a lawn care service business

    GOLD! HOT!
Speaking of aeration.... I always felt like the thing that was missing from lawn service companies was one that would guarantee a nice green lawn with minimal weeds. I would pay twice as much if the company didn't just cut the lawn but did whatever it needs to make it look nice. I don't know if...

What really counts as a competitive advantage?

This guy doesn't know his competition, and doesn't know how to separate himself from them. His revenue is $10k/year. What can he really offer you? Doesn't seem like much. What counts as a competitive advantage varies by industry. If you are looking for an overarching philosophy, watch MJ's...

Where are all the Mobile Home Park Investors?

    HOT! REAL ESTATE
LS? You mean Louisiana? I assume Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana & Florida don't have the economic conditions you are looking for, souldn't that vary quite a bit depending on the area of the state?

    Fastlane Parenting (Tips, Tactics...)

    GOLD! PEOPLE
I have 3 kids under age 5. Home schooling is as easy or difficult as you want it to be, but it's certainly more work than shipping your kids off to babysitters. My kids are my WHY. I'm creating freedom for myself so that they can be FREE. The vast majority of people fall into the status quo...

    Fastlane Parenting (Tips, Tactics...)

    GOLD! PEOPLE
Like I said, you are fighting against a current. The current is going to pull them toward the status quo. It doesn't mean it's impossible. But why fight the current? If it's because you don't have time or interest in taking your kids out of school, fine. School offers nothing of value that...

I literally cannot think of one thing school is good for. No way I will put my kids through it. You are fighting against a very strong current to try & raise your kids fastlane through the school system.

Stop what you're doing. Get a line of credit.

    HOT!
Lines of Credit are great because if an opportunity comes up, it's incredibly accessible. That said, I did have to give financials for mine. And different people will get approved for different amounts based on their financials. Each bank probably has their own slight differences as well. Mine...

Starting (and Fastlaning) a lawn care service business

    GOLD! HOT!
Assuming 5 days/week, that's about $10k/month of revenue, which is AWESOME for just starting out. You should be grossing at least 50%, so once you get your equipment/truck/etc you are really going to be in a great position to quit your job.

Lots of audiobooks are on Youtube. The quality is usually bad & there are ads + unless you have YouTube Red you can't do anything else with your phone while it plays.

Starting (and Fastlaning) a lawn care service business

    GOLD! HOT!
Most contractors don't know how to get out of the weeds & create a business that runs without them. It sounds like that was your problem. It is probably a bigger issue in service businesses, but not exclusively & it isn't insurmountable.
