My employers new stance on cell phones.....its YOUR responsibility

Vig, that was dam near poetic, and you hit the nail right on the head. For about ten years, I was listening to my boss's visions about how our products were going to take off and make us all tons of money. Massive was always just around the next corner. After so many years, it made me weary...

    Credit Cards and The Fastlane

    EXECUTION
This is what we do. I have 2 credit cards. One is the very first one I opened about 15 years ago when I was in college. I keep it mainly because I'm under the impression that more mature credit accounts look good to the credit bureaus. My main card is an airline miles card. That's the one we...

    2015 Fastlane Summit, Official Thread

    MEETUPS
My flight arrives in PHX at 6:39. I think I'd miss the actual dinner, but will people still be there ~7:30? Or is the party moving somewhere else right after dinner? If people will be hanging there for a while, I'll join you guys there.

The 1 Surprising Secret to Making Money While Helping People for Free

That's why I tried to make the pitch as soft as possible. Just a "hey, I've read some books over the last year and have found a couple of good points in each, would anyone be interested in reading this together in February." A couple of guys said they'd be game, but it feels like it'll get lost...

How to build a landing page on a budget?

    MARKETING
If it's a pretty small project, check out weebly.com. You can get a free account that will let you have like 3 pages. It's a pretty simple interface, you wouldn't need any kind of website building experience.

The 1 Surprising Secret to Making Money While Helping People for Free

When my journey changed course almost a year ago, when a friend gave me Rich Dad, Poor Dad, I started reading other books and got excited. Then, when I picked up TMF last October-ish (thanks, Amazon for putting that in my suggested books list) and found TFF, it kicked my thinking into overdrive...

The 1 Surprising Secret to Making Money While Helping People for Free

Thanks MJ. I actually looked at your "7 Steps to Radically Change Your Life..." title and the original title for the "Astonishing Secrets" thread to try to get an idea for mine ;) @RazorCut, thanks for the kind words. Totally agreed about the forum. And even though I only specifically mentioned...

Gaming, GTA Analysis, The Wolf of Wall Street And Escapism

    MINDSET RANT
Ari, decent post, if not a little long. I'll admit I hadn't thought about games like that quite in those terms, and I think you've got a point there. Although I believe there's more to GTA's popularity than achieving success in the game. Game play mechanics and other issues can have a lot to do...

[RANT]: Raise the minimum wage! This is so unfair!

    GOLD! EXECUTION
I sympathize. I really do feel bad for someone who can't find a job, but in many cases (especially for college grads in this day and age) it's their own damn fault for not doing a little research ahead of time. I've got a friend who got a bachelor's in religion (or religious studies or...
