How to Build and Grow a Newsletter as a Business Model
GOLD! HOT! PUBLISHINGI recently started getting a lot of "subscribers" on my product newsletter website. There is not framework or anything, and I didn't implement any bot mitigation. So after I did that, most of them stopped, but still some got through. Problem is that all those "subscribers" either hard bounced or...- jbg

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATMy friend, I say this with love - you are definitely affected by misinformation machine. I know because I'm actively consuming all that trash, so I can create a product that combats misinformation. And you are repeating talking points that are common on Reddit and Youtube comments. I don't have...- jbg

Has Moving to a Warm and Sunny Climate Made You Happier?
NOTABLE! MINDSETYeah, that's about it. No particular reason why. I have to research more about all them, this was just my random first impression. I'm just more drawn to Asia at this moment. It's not that you need to be rich, I'm simply in startup mode right now, and some of yellow countries are simply cheaper...- jbg

Has Moving to a Warm and Sunny Climate Made You Happier?
NOTABLE! MINDSETI had a terrible day today. I'm so fed up living here. I'm even more fed up with complaining. I made myself a map of potential places where I would want to plant flags for various reasons. This has calmed me down a lot. Priorities safety > nice weather & food > cost of living > My subjective...- jbg

Web Design - Privacy policies for clients
SIDE HUSTLEYou need to be aware of GDPR and California act (forgot it's name) mostly. I think some other countries like Brazil added something similar. AI is a easy way to do it, but unreliable. There is a bunch of services where you buy privacy policy after filling a huge form. One quick search will get...- jbg

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATWhoever made reusable groceries bags with long handles popular should be trialed for crimes against humanity. How the hell are you supposed to carry full bag in one hand if it's almost touching the floor. Why the hell are groceries bags with normal handle so hard to find. Had to get that out of...- jbg

Post all of your ideas and random problems you’ll never execute on...
GOLD! HOT! IDEAThis one is pretty obvious, but I wish there was some seamless way to stream movies and documentaries. I don't know how many nights in a row I want to watch a movie before sleep. I have a list of movies and documentaries on IMDB, but every time I have to check justwatch where is it streaming...- jbg

Is This Skewing Value... or Stealing?
IDEAI would move on if I was you. He obviously has his own thing that he's building by himself. He gave you the time of the day. If he's really on that trajectory to become a bigger podcast, at some point he will make enough money to hire someone to solve it. I would just tell him hey, I'm here if...- jbg

How is most advice successful entrepreneurs (online) give so a$$?
RANTI don't know why you watch that trash as gospel. Also, what F*cking business did Sam Altman ever build? If you are really 17, you are doing great, keep working, stop complaining, keep failing. You still have 13 (!!!!!) years of time to end up on Forbes 30 under 30 or whatever is your goal.- jbg

CENTS: the Control commandment in relation to mobile apps
QUESTIONThere are more than 2 app stores. I'm 99.99% sure there is nothing preventing you from selling your mobile app from your website on Android. For iOS I don't know. So you can gain all your control back. But the question remains, is the user experience and missing out on store traffic worth it...- jbg

HOT! CHATMaybe my post is unclear, but I wanted to say that it blows my mind that people are immigrating TO Croatia in search of a better life. For the majority of my life, and definitely before it was exact opposite. I think your situation is referring to something else.- jbg

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATThis year I've read a lot about different countries around the world, all kinds of different stuff. Somehow I always end up on the notion of developed and developing countries. Whether those designations are of any value is a separate discussion. What is important, I think it's F*cking insane...- jbg

HOT! CHATBiggest problem you will have with Linux are drivers. Mostly everything else can be solved around. Probably best to download some flavor of Ubuntu and live boot and see if any driver related issue pops up. That should be immediately obvious. If you think my last sentence is too complicated, or...- jbg
