Make Tariffs great again? At least for someone?
SIDE HUSTLEOkay so Trump is in the office, he said something about tariffs yesterday to Canada, Mexico, EU and China. Let's put all politics aside and whether it will happen, and assume it will happen for purpose of planning. I'm from EU. All my current and future businesses will be some combination of...- jbg

HOT! CHAT@MJ DeMarco I saw the no politics thread yesterday, but I'm really interested in people opinions about potential tariffs and how will that work for businesses outside US. Is that topic also not allowed or?- jbg

Addiction Doesn’t Exist: The Billion-Dollar Lie Keeping You Stuck
BOOKS MINDSET HEALTHTo put it bluntly, and politely, I think you are incredibly underestimating physical effects of alcohol addiction on people that aren't you. I have no doubt that your experience with quitting is what you wrote and that you feel anyone can do it like that. I don't know your life, nor do I want to...- jbg

Addiction Doesn’t Exist: The Billion-Dollar Lie Keeping You Stuck
BOOKS MINDSET HEALTHThis is the exact problem with this conversation. I believe you wrote your post with good intentions, but it's still incredibly imprecise. You didn't say what exact addiction you are talking about. As an example, nicotine withdrawal symptoms are a joke after you realize that it is a joke...- jbg

Addiction Doesn’t Exist: The Billion-Dollar Lie Keeping You Stuck
BOOKS MINDSET HEALTHProblem with this topic is that most of the people here conflate every addiction like it's the all the same. It simply isn't. There are physical addictions and there are psychological addictions. Yes, if you have a psychological addiction, you can just use Easy Way method and realize there is...- jbg

HOT! CHATI'm here for almost a year, so I haven't read everything from him, but I do remember few of his rants. While I don't agree with him on a lot of things, I don't think he is a bad guy. I'm 99% sure he was struggling with some personal issues. I mean nobody happy and content rants on the internet...- jbg

Launching a $60K Video Game in 4 Months
EXECUTIONThank you for sharing all the info. Your command of color in both game art and visual design is insane. It literally pops from Steam page. I'm legitimately envious of how good your games look. I literally used screenshots of your game along with Hyper Light drifter and Children of Morta for...- jbg

Video game development is my passion and I’m making it my fast lane strategy.
HOT! EXECUTIONHi Donya, I've been lurking this topic for some time now. I wanted to leave a comment many times, but I chose to say silent. Main reason is that I read that you have some kind of disability and suffer from depression. I didn't want to be random person on the internet that throws negativity in a...- jbg

HOT! CHATI was doing chores for a family member who got the flu. Somehow an old mercury based thermometer fell and smashed itself to pieces. I was cleaning it nonchalantly like it's anything else. My sister told me I should be very careful and double clean everything according to her friend. So I got...- jbg

Make Tariffs great again? At least for someone?
SIDE HUSTLEI don't follow the US politics apart from elections, is this an actual thing that is going to happen? I was under the impression that tariff speeches were just "okay, let's all come to the table, so we can get America a better deal"? Same as "USA will leave NATO" rhetoric, so it gives clear...- jbg

I quit vaping, and so should you.
HEALTHWell, you are skirting around clear instructions of the book by quitting before finishing the book. +1 for Easy Way from me. I smoked cigarettes and rolled tobacco from 14-26 years old. I was smoking one pouch of tobacco every 3 days by the end. I was sick of smoking but didn't know how to...- jbg

Any Black Friday Deals for Your Business?

Emotional turmoil, pending death in the family...
MINDSETWell, life has meaning because it ends. If it was infinite we couldn't value it, since scarcity=value. To be honest, while it may not seem like that at the moment, you are lucky. You get one year to say your goodbyes and spend time before it's over with your father. Not everyone is that lucky...- jbg

Holiday Savings: Get a MacBook Air for $250
Well I don't know where you or the other guy are located, but 500$ for MacbookPro where I am simply doesn't happen here. So if you are somewhere where you can get that, that's great. Problem with your example isn't the laptop but Windows. I could write a whole Bible why Microsoft is the worst...- jbg

Holiday Savings: Get a MacBook Air for $250
Biggest 2 questions are: do you need anything special from your computer and what is your budget. Since you used ChromeOS, the answer to first question is most likely no. Then the only question is budget. If you can afford it at the moment - any MacBook is a clear winner. Like others said, it...- jbg
