    Health Insurance for Entreprenuer

    OFF-TOPIC
I’ve experienced this as well while I was freelancing earlier this year. I live in MA and paid ~$1200 /mo for lower tier insurance. This was for my entire family (my wife and I + 2 children)

    My Execution Update

    EXECUTION INTRO
This is way overdue. I've been contributing here and I felt that this was important to write my first post and update my execution to keep myself accountable. My FTE 1/15/24. That is the day I had a FTE moment. I am coming from an engineering background. The startup that I worked for went down...

This is interesting. I was recently thinking about how I can have a "local" power storage outside of the grid even if it may not be able to power my entire home.

ha I follow Great Scott! as well. I had a similar thoughts recently. I definitely think there is an opportunity here. Another issue that I have with the knockoff cables is that they are not reliable. Even after a few months of normal usage, you start to have connection issues

Thank you for your insight. - Yeah, I think inefficient context switching is going on. I think defining a good stopping point in my daily/weekly planning should help. - Definitely agree with prioritizing and differentiating urgent vs important. I will think about that the next time I plan my...

    GOLD! HOT! EXECUTION
I've noticed that whenever "unexpected" things happen (ex. something in the house breaks, or a kid gets sick), my execution gets interrupted for longer than the time I lost due to the event. It takes me a few extra days to get back to the rhythm and regain momentum. Has anyone experienced this...

Seeking Advice on Expanding Beyond My Programming Bubble

    MINDSET
yeah, I think the desire for human connection is one of the fundamental needs that has been neglected, especially in recent years. This applies both within work and non-work settings. I've been thinking about this recently but haven't found any great solutions yet. -

Slowlane to fastlane vs. slowlane and fastlane

    OFF-TOPIC
I still have a "slow lane" job to support my family, and I get to work on my hopefully "fastlane" business in every free time I get. It feels pretty tiring, and I have no idea how long I will have to do this. But, my biggest take away from MJ's books is that the fastlane is a process not an...

    Learning Python

    QUESTION
I see. I've used W3 schools (for basic syntax) and Practical Data Science (to learn how to set up the environment) pretty heavily in the beginning of my learning. Otherwise, you can follow tons of videos on YouTube, but you will learn so much faster once you have your own project. Good luck

    Learning Python

    QUESTION
Hi Jose, I am not a full-time software developer but I write python code regularly and have previously managed software engineers. What are you learning python for? There are lots of free resources, but the first step is to identify what you want to do with python. There are so many possible...
