EXECUTIONProgress Thread [01/24/25] What a week it has been. It was a emotional roller coaster. I took @Andy Black's advice and decided to build something to help people now. Helping engineering students find a job one at a time [PROGRESS THREAD]
EXECUTION@Andy Black You are amazing! I just came up with something so simple that I can share for free by the end of the week. Better yet, This wont cost me anything. No need to manage my own database or fancy website. I can build upon this for nicer paid features if this is something that people...- alee12

Helping engineering students find a job one at a time [PROGRESS THREAD]
EXECUTIONThat is the million dollar question. For this project, I am going with 2 related problems Problem #1: it's becoming more common for engineers to share their portfolio. However, most do not have website building skills so they spend lots time building one (either as a website or pdf document)...- alee12

Helping engineering students find a job one at a time [PROGRESS THREAD]
EXECUTION@Andy Black You are hitting me in the right spot. I actually spent a lot of time on reddit with those who were asking questions about not knowing what to do and where to start. Some of them I messaged online. some talked on zoom. I got to learn what people want to do these days. What they don't...- alee12

Helping engineering students find a job one at a time [PROGRESS THREAD]
EXECUTIONI see. As the cost of rapid prototyping goes down, I hope we will have more solopreneurs and freelancers in the space to solve problems. I definitely want to make physical things in the future. I just can't tackle projects with high upfront cost right now (At least I am too afraid) Congrats on...- alee12

Helping engineering students find a job one at a time [PROGRESS THREAD]
EXECUTIONYeah, I thought this was a reasonable request that would make it so much easier for my customers. Oh yeah. There are so many, but I think the biggest takeaway from this was that I can learn to fully live and enjoy each day. I may not have reached that "big event" yet, but I am thankful to be...- alee12

Helping engineering students find a job one at a time [PROGRESS THREAD]
EXECUTIONYeah, the process really sucks. What did you use to make your portfolio if you don't mind sharing? I think when it comes to making a portfolio, there are actually many options. None of them are perfect, but one can get by. 1. google slide 2. website builder like wordpress 3. github page (using...- alee12

Helping engineering students find a job one at a time [PROGRESS THREAD]
EXECUTIONThank you for the info. Wow, I checked out the link. The offering seems very comprehensive and generalized. it is a little different from what I was envisioning but I can see how this model can be successful.
