    Learning economics

I majored in Economics. I wouldn't recommend an economics book for a person who wants applicable knowledge of economics. People misunderstand economics to think you learn about the economy, which you do. but there are differences in the TYPE of economics you learn. Economics is the study of the...

All my units are at a fulfillment warehouse that is shut down for hurricane irma. Won't be back in stock until next week. No point in sending another shipment even if it goes out tomorrow it won't be live on Amazon until the same time. Turning off my ads.

    GOLD! SIDE HUSTLE
The theme most definitely has CSS otherwise it wouldn't look the way it does. Look in the HTML head and see where its saved to or search thru all the folders for style.css

The template has code in it, and you can see what it looks like. Rather than writing it all from scratch, you can copy and paste various parts that you need such as the nav, the hero image, list items, etc. and adjust to your liking and change around the CSS, etc. You still need an editor to...

8 Eyewear: From Idea, to Launch, to Growth (And Quitting the Job)

    IDEA
That makes sense. I think if you delete the listing you should be fine unless someone decides to blatantly steal your images and descriptions and post one as yourself.

    IDEA
Hmm I'm not sure about that. I think you can delete the listing entirely but it may be possible for someone to make their own listing of your product as screenshotted above. It's a really annoying situation nonetheless but perhaps your retailers can do this and have them removed off the listing...

8 Eyewear: From Idea, to Launch, to Growth (And Quitting the Job)

    IDEA
I just dealt with this on my listing. So this is a big problem with Amazon right now. These are Chinese sellers that launch and then don't ship anything with a fake tracking # or they ship a shitty counterfeit. They leech onto your listings (or make a new one as shown) and try to sell under your...

First True Venture into Importing & Growing a Business

    SOURCING EXECUTION
Month 1 (Aug 2-Aug 31) Summary: I'm profitable but now starting to catch up since in the beginning of the launch I lowered the price below breakeven. My goal was to make $1000-1500 in revenue initially when I started this thread. I guess I underestimated the demand for the product, it's a...

Bootstrapping my web development business by calling

    SIDE HUSTLE
I'm seeing a lot of symptoms that show they want to get off the phone and all of those are excuses as you haven't really got them interested in the offer. Try to figure out 1 concise, sentence that can get them interested to give you the next 30 seconds. Once that works, work on the next step...

Ask me anything about eCommerce (Ongoing)

    GOLD!
Do you know the answer to this? Couldn't find it on seller central forum. If you click or view your own product listing, does it affect your conversion rate? I started clicking and refreshing multiple times to inspect the hijacker I got and I'm wondering if it's taken in consideration my IP...

I'm not because I'm not registered for a trademark yet. I just put ™ in front of my name letting people know it's in the process. But now that this has happened, I'm going to use a trademark service to get the process started now and pay the $300 or whatever it is. After I sent him the letter...

Got my first hijacker on my listing. Newly launched seller, fake a$$ name, 0 seller feedback, he's leeched himself onto a handful of products that he doesn't own or manufacturer. F*ckin low lives.. He's listed lower than my price, not FBA (of course, he doesn't have the product in stock cause...

The work is copyrighted by the designer or artist or company who produced it. Rule of thumb, any brand name or recognizable movie, show, game etc you could count on the fact that you cannot make or sell those. There are people who sell fan produced artwork of shirts and hats, like Rick and...

Broke my record in sales yesterday. There is still more room to grow. Also got a my first, very nice 5 star review from a customer with photos and stuff, I was a bit surprised. I have a bit of an obsessive personality especially when I do something like sports or competitive things. On a daily basis, I refresh Seller Central probably every 15 minutes, I need to stop. I had only 2 sales this morning and figured I'd end myself before dinner. Then sales come in back to...
