Don't Follow Your Passion! (feat. Mike Rowe from "Dirty Jobs")

    MINDSET RANT
You should probably watch the video(s). Doing what you like is what is creating this skill gap between graduates and the working field - nobody grows up wishing to be a feces cleaner; the opportunity/need presented itself and by becoming very good at that (prospering), the enjoyment (and...

The Fastlane Mindset and Everyone Else (4 Men with 4 Very Different Incomes Open Up About the Lives)

    EXECUTION
Thanks for the share and summary. Reading it right now, though what just caught my eye: The 1MM+ guy has 1 credit card(?), the real estate investor (250k) has fifteen. Who needs 15 credit cards?! Also, notice how both the "well off" guys both say they don't want to retire, or atleast don't see...

    Crabs in a Bucket

    MINDSET
I remember this being written in a book somewhere, or perhaps it was on Quora. Anyways, indeed a very accurate term/way of thinking/example. Finding it very noticeable with my friends and close family. That is why it's so important to find like-minded people and hang around with (and learn from)...

    Goal Expectation Paradigm

    MINDSET
Thank you for the wake-up "call". I just realized I actually do not have any concrete fastlane plans.. which is probably my problem. Looking at fitness and diet, I set weekly/monthly goals along with a certain weight goal. Aiming for these goals has always worked out well for me so far. Makes me...

    Alcohol Delivery Via App

Interesting idea, though legally it could have some issues (with age). Please keep us posted edit: turns out there are beer delivery services in my area. In NL it is illegal to sell hard liquor outside of special liquor stores, or to deliver hard liquor to a persons home. edit2: but, if you're...

Book Summary Services - Worth It?

I've recently tried one called "Blinkist". An app that offers text and audio summaries of books in several categories. Perfect while I was on the road during holidays; all the books take around 15 minutes to finish. I listened to Rich dad poor dad, Richest man in Babylon etc while driving. (TMF...

    My Crazy Idea ...

    IDEA
Definitely add this to the landing page (the fact that you make instrumentals or beats). I too was very confused about what exactly you offered. Also; why would I, assuming I'm into producing hiphop music, choose your service? I already have a broad variety of sample packs and know my way around...

I'm not sure if you have seen the latest movie about Steve Jobs and his story (the one with famous actors, I guess there are multiple movies), but it sheds some light in their design choices. Apple likes to make hardware difficult to change or use? The more option for change you give someone...

STOP Paying Rent: Live For Free

    GOLD! REAL ESTATE
Very interesting topic; saw someone from Germany who didn't seem too hopeful to join in on this. I'm looking around for similar options in NL, though will not be in a position to join in either before saving some cash. I've always found renting to be the dumbest thing to do with your money...

The Millionaire Fastlane. The first few pages had me hooked so I'm cruising through the chapters right now, currently at the Slowlane section. Just finished Richest man in Babylon, so this book gives a bit of contrast regarding the "save 10% and get rich when you're 65" idea from the...
