    GOLD!
At least you have a real home run. To put in perspective, you would be happy getting a single when you first started. I remember seeing your first post on HFR (before I read your thread) it was like something like "what an intriguing idea.. writing with wordcounts" At that point in time all...

"Let me out the airlock please." This writing venture made me read a real fiction book. Something I never do. It's called Wool. Business, or trying to make it in the fast lane, is like being in the world of Wool, an underground Silo. You gotta believe that the outside world is a possibility...

I'm writing my 18th book. What the heck right? Yeah I'm surprised of that too. But a bulk of them were super short erotica books, which although sold, were nothing compared to my paranormal romance. Still, I am highly intrigued by erotica, and it serves as an awesome way to refine my writing...

Yeah? I just pumped a book on tentacles. A fcking tentacle that squirms its way in the vagina. It's not a big niche, but it sold. Have you seen how much the centaur guys are making? How about the milk me father of sparta series? Selling sex is the oldest profession in the world, erotica writer...

    Kindle Unlimited... Authors in trouble?

    PUBLISHING
With my foray into erotica, I released a book with no sales, and only borrows. Was surprised to know that there was a royalty paid to them!! Which is amazing. Something like $2 for a 2.99 book. But then I looked at my other books in different categories, and found different rates of royalty...

    Try Again, Picturebooks

    PUBLISHING
I'm talking about really basic picture books for foreign language for kids. Like "red" = "rojo" and theres like a picture of a worm on an apple. I see that being a potentially lucrative. Especially during Christmas, as a way for family to connect to their roots. Makes a great gift to a newborn...

^ what he said. Then there's Raminor Dixon, who basically spearheaded gender-swap. Then the BBW Romance girl. Then these dudes who are trying to make centaurs mate with mermaids while milking them. These "entrepreneur-writers" didnt follow Held For Ransom's advice, they wrote creatively, but...

Whats the deal on language learning picture books? Someone asked me to shop for a book so that the new born learns the mother's foreign tongue. I thought about what you were doing. Might be another venture for you.. but I can totally see that + marketing to potentially $$$.

It's exactly what @Held for Ransom said except he makes the distinction of marketing as 'market research' and 'promotional marketing'. Basically he doesnt waste time promoting his book in different channels, he just writes another book using market research as quickly as possible. Another key...

Chickenhawk and HeldforRansom didn't do marketing. Their threads are stickied here. Held for Ransom took only 300+ hours of writing to get his 15k/month income. He didnt create a product (thousands of hours), he didnt create sales funnel(hundreds of hours), he dint do forum marketing (hundreds...

Generally non-fiction you are solving a specific problem. "how to get laid with girls" "how to use coconut oil" "how to program" "how to make money" In fiction, you make shit up. "The guy who used to program is now making money selling coconut oil and getting girls."

This is a non-fiction book, not exactly the same.. unless it's coconut-oil then backend to a coconut affiliate product? Great job with the 100k revenue though. Thats great. I'm guessing you use Amazon as another marketing channel.

Only prob with this is by the time you go around doing all that, you could have finished another book (or two). Write more so you get more books out there --- depending on your niche. Again this is fiction, not selling coconut-oil ebook.

Except that there's a ton of market research before writing a book. Check out @Held for Ransom's thread. He even has scripts to automate his market research. Market research is the game in this field. Especially in kdp. Everything gets measured out before the first word even gets typed.

July numbers are in -- I think? This is my third month in this venture. Last time i'll talk about sales. Sales comes in about the same as amount-displayed-on-my-rep-bank ATM. Which leads me to conclude: the more post on FLM forum the higher the sales. <--- approx that number I still don't...
