Ok we should release in 10 days, I have been really busy with uni so have been spending a few hours after uni coding. A good childhood friend is helping me polish off the MVP. From there we can begin the marketing portion , I should add that I haven't completely got rid of shiny object...

Firebase is free up to 1 GB , if you are implementing a few JSON files it should not be too difficult to store the data for around 8000 users. IMO if you have 5k users you can then move onto other DB systems like PostGress etc

Yes they could implement my skews but the momentum of this skew coupled with better UI, better service , future upgrades , freemium type and branding should help me even more. Furthermore I am focusing on my city first ,that way I can deal with any problems and extra skew factors people want...

Thanks for the kind words I don't think I have read that thread I will go search for it ,I assume it's gold. The problem with shiny object syndrome is we are too focused on money. Forget about money, as long as you have CENTS covered you should be good. Another thing is finding the overlap...

I get what you mean, without validation I can't be sure that this will work. That said I am a tutor , so to an extent i have used similar directory websites. It is much more successful and safer. I also think I haven't explained the concept properly. its not online tutorials jts a...

Similar websites exist with a significant amount of users. I am simply trying to add a skew factor to it, mainly a video before agreeing to tuition services. An example would be selling shoes , the fact that numerous people own shoe stores are a validation in itself.

Maybe market the app on facebook and look for subscriptions. Set a threshold response rate and if it succeeds make the app. Another way is simply making a dummy app in a few weeks, if it provides value build on that.

Agree? You can't build a top tier physical product without Money

    HOT!
How long did you do the leather belt stuff?? I think you also suffer from shiny object syndrome, spend at least 6 months on one job.

Agree? You can't build a top tier physical product without Money

    HOT!
Building a physical product is quiet difficult and from my experience it takes around 2-20k for most products. A digital product takes less than 500 max. That said you could build any product from scratch it is just massively harder.

Ok so due to me being impacted by shiny object syndrome I have committed myself to form a physics tutorial service. As a quantum physics major , this seems as a great way to add value to society. Value + commitment = growth Due to the difficulty of scaling i will create a social media empire...

Does anyone get the rush of excitement right at the advent of a new idea? It is as if you are a hundred percent sure it will work in a dazzling display of awesomeness! BUT! After a few days the euphoria dies down. Like a lover in a sexless marriage you begin looking for the next hype, the...
