    $500,000+ revenue on Shopify!

    NOTABLE!
That's actually a REALLY great way to re-frame that. +1 for the JV mentality. Check out the book "From Mediocrity to Millions" by Jay Abraham it's all about joint ventures and giving value.

Outsourcing an online service business from the start?

    PEOPLE
I suppose that they are two ways of starting a Cash Flow business based on a service offering. Good way to sum it up. You can either learn the skill and offerr it yourself (more profitable at first but not scalable). Or you can outsource it (scalable, quicker, but other head aches involved). If...

Outsourcing an online service business from the start?

    PEOPLE
I am thinking of a similar model, with a focus on creating leads (marketing > selling). What's the most important thing for a business? Cash Flow. Cash flow comes from Revenue. Which comes from SALES. If you don't sell you don't survive. Now if you can specialise in one thing or another, you...

Making Money For Dummies (And In a Crowded Market)

    GOLD! HOT!
I was thinking of it more from a Lead Gen / Joint Venture point of view. Still early stages fleshing out this idea. But you have given me a lot to think about, thank you for taking the time to reply. I'm not really sure where all that came from to be honest. I have a lot of respect for blue...

Making Money For Dummies (And In a Crowded Market)

    GOLD! HOT!
Could you sub-contract the jobs to individuals / businesses? Or would that not give you enough control over the quality of the service? I suppose you could vet them first though and hold them accountable to a degree - i.e., don't perform don't get more jobs from me.

I haven't had the best of luck thus far, I am focused on cold calling and building a marketing funnel. I do think you could sell just fine using the telephone and face to face. You just need to speak to hundreds or thousands of businesses. I am working on it :)

    I hope you all fail.

    MINDSET FAILURE
Ouch... Aside, build a fortress of solitude, a position of F You money. I don't intend to ever fail or fall that hard, I can't do that to those that rely on me. I'll likely never rise as high as people willing to take bigger risks, but you don't need a billion dollars to find financial...

These are who I work with, I get 35% commiss on website sales and they go for $1500 - $3500 each. Best of all, we are able to sell websites on a subscription basis. I.e.$1500 website = $150 per month. (cheaper to buy upfront of course). Give them a contact https://webfactories.biz/home

Undeleted - How to break into sales & never go hungry?

    HOT! MARKETING
You're absolutely right about that, and it's something I still struggle with every time I click "call". I have to fight myself every day to kick my a$$ into gear instead of sitting on the couch. But it's slowly getting easier as momentum builds. This might be one of the biggest reasons most...

Undeleted - How to break into sales & never go hungry?

    HOT! MARKETING
I've only started selling recently, fair enough. But out of email marketing, face2face and cold calling, the phone definitely has the highest ROI so far. I can see email marketing being better long term, and door knocking being better for insta-sales. But for introductions, appointment setting...

Quickly learning how badly you need C for Control (CENTS). Very frustrating. Also cold calling freaking sucks, but it definitely works. Take heart and dial on fella's.

Everything You Need to Know About Sales: Part 1

    MARKETING AMA
Selling solar panels door-to-door is pretty common I think. I haven't looked into it, but it seems like a low barrier to entry. Take a look around your city/town? You'd only need to sell one to make the same commission as several hundred, or even thousand, sales of the lower item.

    Local Lead Gen - Simplified

    MARKETING
Hey Andy, glad to have you back. Hope everything is looking up for you in this tough time. Glad to have you relaying this topic again as it is, in my mind, the most important concept for local lead gen, far beyond any other. What would you typically (ballpark) expect to pay per click for these...

Everything You Need to Know About Sales: Part 1

    MARKETING AMA
Hey, got signed up with a web dev provider (large) to sell both in US and AU markets. Day and Night baby. Made my first sales calls last week, no luck. The focus is on refining and honing the offer to be more attractive. As well as continuing to build a list. Focusing on one industry at a time...
