Hey, thanks for the advice. I did that when I published. But they are not showing for my book. Rank dropped off a bit but it is what it is. And I have no idea why my skitch is in pink..lol.

Hello from Denver - self publishing success

    GOLD!
OK so after reading this thread I decided to give it a go. I wrote a 17,000 word novella in 3 days and it went live yesterday. I'm also about 2,000 words into part 2 and plan on finishing that over the weekend. My question is that my categories are not showing for the book. Every other...

    NOTABLE! EXECUTION
There's too much of it for free for it to be worth doing. Maybe in the early 2000's but not now.

Free Coupon for Startup Course on Udemy $250 value

Hey thanks for the tip. I just signed up and will check it out. I can't believe they are selling this for $249 on that site. I also see a "create a course" button that's seriously calling my name...like NOW. :)

Hey thanks. Not to brag but I've been doing it so long that it just comes natural to me. Another quick tip - always write copy BEFORE your product is done. This will allow you to make your bullet points and theme much stronger and directed right at the target market. This was/is my key to...

    EXECUTION
Hey Michael. For me to explain how I write copy here would take me hours and I really wouldn't be able to do it in writing. I'd have to make a video on it. But I'll give you a few tips to help you get started. First, all good copy follows the same process. Find something in your niche that...

The Profit, entrepreneur business turnaround show on CNBC

    HOT!
A friend of mine does it with boats and absolutely kills it. The guy worked his entire life for the city doing something, I have no idea what. He always loved boats. When he retired he started driving around and stopping at every house that had row boats, kayaks, etc in the yard and just...

    Too Old?

From the story I heard, he got his first social security check and basically said F That! He had his chicken recipe and pitched it to like 1,000 places before one said yes. Pretty incredible story.

    Kindle Formatting Simplified.

    PUBLISHING
Glad you guys like it. I was banging my head against the wall trying to figure out the formatting stuff and there's really nothing solid and simple on how to do it. Everything includes either Fiverr or some other software. Doing this way is quick and simple and the book comes out perfect.

    Kindle Formatting Simplified.

    PUBLISHING
I wouldn't consider myself a self publishing expert by any stretch of the imagination but I have put up quite a few books in my day. All of the books I have are non-fiction and all were sold as PDF ebooks (clickbank) before getting on Kindle. If I didn't write them for selling on Clickbank I...

    Too Old?

I'll tell you the same thing I told my 16 year old sister when she came to me a few years back asking if me if she thought she was too young to start a business. The answer is that if you truly believe you are too old then you are. Remember the story about the Lambo? "I'll never have one of...

Great suggestion. I forgot I could download the MP3's with the year subscription. No need for a podcast with that. Andrews interviews are great.

Hello from Denver - self publishing success

    GOLD!
This may be a stupid question but how do you sort int he amazon/kindle store search? There is no sort feature for me when I go into the genres. The only time I get a sort feature is when I search by keyword. I've tried google, searched the forum, and looked on Youtube. Can't find any info on...

The Profit, entrepreneur business turnaround show on CNBC

    HOT!
I watched both episodes and found them interesting. I like the "no bs" attitude of the show. I'm glad it's not another Shark Tank. I can't stand that show at all.

Cheap houses you can buy in detroit for less than $500

    REAL ESTATE
I can make a million dollars a year. If I spend 1.5 I'm screwed. Then I could bring my income up to 1.5. If I then spend 2, I'm screwed. That thinking has to be fixed first before revenue is address. And that does apply to just cities or governments or whatever. It applies to businesses...
