I think the Gilgamesh bloodline had been eradicated in the great purification campaign of the Lycan solen-king, yet there's rumor spreading in the seven kingdom that there is still ONE family that carries the gene. In modern time, another rumor has it that the Strong-Genetics Corporation, under...

Great thread. Like you, I just started writing fiction recently and I would say I'm the guy who started from bottom zero who was inspired by HFM and Chickenhawks thread. I have no business doing this. I haven't bought a single fiction book prior to this. I mean writing anything more than 2500...

OK ill commit to a prototype. The hard: The total visitor page views should be the hardest and most basic, as you'd essentially need to trigger a web element. If you're able to track the "loading" of this element from an outside host then you're golden, or at least know how many times the...

Having this will give an author nuclear advantage. I'm convinced at this point. The tracking methods of the past is no longer working, but i'm sure there are other ways to crack this system. http://www.ratracegrad.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Kindle-Analytics-Secrets.pdf Anybody out there...

Should we start a kickstarter campaign and send this to the guys at the programming/software section? Hey listen up software guys! We need to figure out how many people are browsing our kindle pages! Amazon has an API for this and it would be great if we can get access to all those glorious...

This will solve a lot of our questions about the viability of Amazon at the current climate of high volume. Let's reconstruct this system. I don't think HFM will come back so we'll have to piece it together. Who wants to give it a go? @Thriftypreneur

Hey, just so you know I also had a book that didn't sell. I mean it sold 1. It's in my progress thread. I know what you mean when you say discouraged. I mean checking kdp hour after hour is not very good IMO. Anyways, I took the same book, redesigned the cover, reworked the intro, and redone the...

I'm dying to know this as well. It seems like you get a bulk of your purchases in those few hours when you're on the new list. Then it dwindles down and crashes at nothingness. The next avenue is the "also bought list" which explains random sales after a month or so. Love to hear from the more...

The majority of romance books are 10k-20k. I mean there are longer ones. But they're gaming it anyways. I even saw an author put up a 100+ page romance book and got glowing reviews, then her next one was just 30 pages (10k) words which the same reviews ultimately hated. I can't shake the feeling...
