    I'm running out of time too.. but, you can hire an agent of process in Nevada.. they forward you any mail or legal servings you get. The annual fee is around $75 - $100 a year. I would be a little nervous on the Series LLC ... only because LLCs are still relativily young and there is limited...

    Your friend would be called a "Slum Lord" in the US ... Where the focus is on money only, and they will let the properties stay in disrepair.. or very cheapest repair... like painting over issues instead of properly repairing. AND they charge as much as they can for rent without the customer...
