Reading The Same Books Over and Over vs Reading Different Books
Bought it... will let you know when I'm done... :) out of every 10 books that I pick up and start reading, I'll read 3 of them (and when I say I read 50 books in a year, a put down another 10 or 20 that I didn't read) so I'm not committing to reading it all the way, just to starting on it :)- Lyinx

Reading The Same Books Over and Over vs Reading Different Books
here's another book that's good :) I just started reading a book that is written up with examples, and you need to fill out an answer to each question before moving on.. I thought "hey, I can do this, but I don't need to write down the answers" 1/4 way through, I looked at the one example...- Lyinx

Will we see an actual war with China?
HOT! OFF-TOPICI'll answer this as my a citizen of the US.. : No, I don't see us going to war with China (or China with us) in the conventional sense. Here is the reasoning(s) China is touting itself as being "socialist, with capitalist leanings", phrase that I made up, but its what I think they are leaning...- Lyinx

Box inserts
MARKETINGmaybe I should make my question a bit more clear, as there are multiple questions: 1. I am wondering if there is a "service" that provides these inserts to put into boxes 2. If there is no service, does anyone have any experience working with another company to put them into their boxes?- Lyinx

Entity Structure - Multiple Businesses
Good point. the software that we use allows for profit centers to be setup, but that means you need to track each time you change from one job to the next (which we don't do at this time) The software that we use does allow for tracking all the expenses that go to each product, and you could...- Lyinx

Would you pay for a home delivery/shopping service currently (and in future)?
Actually, was a much more simple reason... I live at home and dad does all the shopping :) I've seen our grocery bill years ago when it was $300+/week (8 children plus dad and Mom eat a LOT of food), might not be exact... so, if you spend $30 to get it delivered to you, or spend half an hour...- Lyinx

Entity Structure - Multiple Businesses
Never thought of it that way, would actually make some things very simple :) Bonus points, one big accounting system to account for all expenses/profits at the end of the year, makes the accountants work easier :)- Lyinx

In my local area there are a few services like this, I didn't check into it lately, but at that time they were charging +10% on top of cost (and most likely a minimum fee) They probably buy the more popular supplies from the store at a case price and store it so they can make a few extra bucks...- Lyinx

EXECUTIONLast night I spoke with a woman in my industry that has been in it longer than me, and she talked about patents. she said it like this: Disney has been copied by the Chinese... Old man tries to start
EXECUTIONThere are a lot of people who like patents on their things... however, I hate the idea. Also, there are a lot of reasons to not patent the idea: 1. lookup why WD-40 never put a patent on their stuff. If they would have patented the item, people the world over would now be making it at home...- Lyinx
