HOT! CHATI am trying to sell some old computer monitors on the local online marketplace. What a pain in the a$$ this is. It is $60 Canadian I put them up for. At this point I think it is probably easier to just throw them in the garbage rather than try and talk to people for such a comically small...- GPM

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATI signed up for Muay Thai with my little boy. I am going to take him to two classes a week, he absolutely loved his first class. It is a parent/kid class which is awesome. Smacked each other with pool noodles, he caught my kicks and punched me in the stomach. It was a lot of fun. I also did my...- GPM

HOT! CHATHoly smokes that is exciting for entertainment! Absolutely love his Mistborn books, recently finished them for the 2nd time. I just picked up the first 4 books of the Stormlight series, in probably midway through the second book. It is hard to tell since Kindle decided to group all 4 books...- GPM

Homeschooling Chat Thread
HOT! CHATI 100% disagree with that. Kids find friends. You don't lock them up in the house and don't let them talk to other people. Also, school is the absolutely opposite of getting kids to integrate with people with different mindsets. School bashes one way of thinking into them. Every situation...- GPM

HOT! CHATMegadeth FINALLY did a "cover" of Ride the Lightning. Man, I wish so hard that Dave did the entire Metallica discography like 20 years ago. Still though, this song freaking rips. The solo is so good. It is so clean, and some small changes make it absolutely killer to listen to.- GPM

Homeschooling Chat Thread
HOT! CHATThe thing I really like about the idea of home schooling the kids is that when you are doing projects, they can be with you to learn. Fixing something around the house? Give them a screwdriver to turn some stuff. Solving a task? They can brainstorm it with you. Need to cook something? They can...- GPM

Homeschooling Chat Thread
HOT! CHATThis is a topic near and dear to my heart. I have yet to escape the system for my children, but I am hopeful that by 2027 I have some real options. I am in Canada primarily, and Mexico secondarily. My daughter missed 50% of school for grade 1, and I think that her learning was better when she...- GPM

HOT! CHATThe comments are hilarious. If you ever want to feel better about yourself, just go to Reddit. Absolutely filled with straight up losers. It does not matter what the topic is, if you want to find the most defeatist losers on the planet, that is where they are going to hang out. Everything is...- GPM

HOT! CHATHas anyone here played around with Full Spectrum lighting for their house or office? I tried replacing my office lights with incandescent bulbs, but the heat it put off was staggering. My office would get far too hot. Not terrible in the winter, but not practical for much of the year. I also...- GPM

HOT! CHATI am genuinely curious if you wrote any of that, or if it was AI. I had a hard time reading it. It might be true, it might be practical, but I just can't read it.- GPM

HOT! CHATYes it is cooked, because the listeners are cooked. No one has any time to sit and listen to music and enjoy the structure, the melody, the work that went in to it. They just want some background beats that all sound the same. Call me an old man if you want, but back when people purchased...- GPM

HOT! CHATIf you instead meant L-Theanine then I am curious as to how that goes! I do not drink coffee, but a couple times a week I will take L=Theanine with 200mg of caffeine. It does not always have the same effect as before, but I found the combo to give me incredible cognitive clarity with zero...- GPM

Microsoft Hates Us: Have You Moved To Linux? How Is It Over There?
HOT! OFF-TOPICI have yet to make the switch to Linux, still rocking Windows 10. My largest concerns are with my Media PC which runs ATMOS sound through 7.1.4 sound system in a theater room. From everything I have been able to research it looks like ATMOS is not supported through Linux. However, it would be...- GPM

HOT! CHATAhh diets. MJ is right. It is a cult, in all directions. And grifters everywhere! I can't believe that people are monetizing Carnivore. Isn't that literally "only eat meat"? I guess people can monetize anything, and people will sign up for courses on how to eat meat. As far as diet goes, I...- GPM

Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency Discussion (And Predictions)
HOT! CRYPTO CHATThese are always pieces of crap. I remember when a "space heater" bitcoin miner came out. It was essentially old hardware that sucks and put into a pretty package. Yay! Now you get a super inefficient bitcoin miner that "earns" you like 10 cents a day and produces heat!- GPM

What are your 2026 goals?
MINDSETThis is what I do. I have a 3" mattress topper on the floor. I discovered this by accident and have been doing it for like 5 years now. My wife has been giving me the gears over it though, she is tired of sleeping on the non-classy floor, so looks like I will have to get a bed frame in the near...- GPM
