HOT! CHATThat photo makes it look like it has a big toothpaste splat on it. That is just the light, and me rushing to take a photo to send to my brother to say it had arrived. The guitar has some natural texture to it, and it is a mat black. It does not photograph well, but it looks great in person! I...- GPM

HOT! CHATSo I have an update on the UPS fun times on my end. I went to the kick boxing gym today, and this particular location that they have was like a 5 minute drive from the UPS depot, so I decided I would pop in and make sure they were not going to shred my guitar. The guy at the desk was like "we...- GPM

HOT! CHATHere is how they look in action. Just wrap at your cables while it's in standing mode, and that way when you drop the desk they just drape on the floor or whatever. It's the same as what your cables do now when not bundled up.- GPM

HOT! CHATI have a desk that looks just like that! I also just bought a fancy motorized stand-up desk made by Secret Lab which is incredibly nice. Buy these cable wraps, very easy, and it will clean the whole look up! I use this everywhere. My desk wires all use them, and I use them for my 11 channel...- GPM

HOT! CHATUPS is the biggest piece of garbage shipping company I have ever experienced. I bought a guitar in USA, had it at my brothers place for a while, and just had it shipped to Canada. I unfortunately picked UPS to handle this. They want an additional $181 in fees to "clear" the item. Based on the...- GPM

HOT! CHATThis is one movie I'm actually looking forward to seeing. I used to go to movies with my wife all the time, now it's just pure slop, so we might see one or two a year. I bet we go some years without seeing any- GPM

HOT! CHAT@Kevin88660 Now go ask it about the decline in the last 20ish years. The recent batch of kids are worse than those before it in nearly every single metric. For the first time, the next generation is worse than their parents in every regard. Think it has anything to do with everyone being glued...- GPM

HOT! CHATCircle of influence vs. Circle of concern. Please please please try to remember people! There is no need to get absolutely worked up over all the BS going on in the world if we have zero way to control it. Be the change you want to see in the world. Be a good person, do good things, sway people...- GPM

Choose Hard, Live Easy: The Art of War for Decision-Making (Release thread)
HOT! BOOKSI just got my email saying that my pre-order on Kindle was fulfilled! Very cool! The title of your book runs through my mind every day, and I actually wrote it on my bathroom mirror. "Choose Hard - Live Easy". It helps me make better choices when I am not feeling like it.- GPM

HOT! CHATI just upgraded my monitor to a 45" ultrawide, OLED, 165hz, 800R curved. 5120 x 2160 resolution. Moved from a 3840 x 1600 38" curved ultrawide. This new one is insane. Its like going from looking up at the night sky in the city, to looking up at the night sky out in the countryside with zero...- GPM

HOT! CHATThey feed our cows garbage, palm oil and soy and other crap. Almost nothing of what a cow is actually supposed to eat, like grass. Nope, can't feed the cows that! Fun fact, Canadian cheese sucks so much now because they skirt the regulations and stuff by importing foreign powdered milk, and...- GPM

HOT! CHATCanadian butter is literally the worst butter I have ever had in my life. I eat a lot of butter. Canada hates competition to its industry, so getting foreign dairy (which is actually good quality) is prohibitively expensive here. 500g of local shit butter is $8 Canadian a brick. 250g of "grass...- GPM

HOT! CHATI am in the oil industry, and what I am seeing already happening is crazy. Massive infrastructure is being destroyed right now, which takes YEARS to build again. That is years to build when things are good. Imagine if everyone wants to start building again at the same time once things are back...- GPM
