INTROWelcome fellow lady! You’re kicking butt!!! I think it’s awesome that you can sell your product without much marketing. It’s like in MJ’s book Unscripted, where you got a ‘productocracy’ a product that sells itself.- DonyaSze

Video game development is my passion and I’m making it my fast lane strategy.
HOT! EXECUTIONI can’t figure out how to edit my original post, so I’ll just post a comment adding to the ‘Control’ portion and add a little about my reasons for things and experience: I am the developer, artist, and co-writer. Main producer and director. That means it’s mostly solo-developer role, but I’m...- DonyaSze

Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?
GOLD! HOT! CHATThe ONE THING for me, I just did, which was to set a limit on the number of enemies I draw for the game demo, because I just kept drawing everything that came to mind. Setting a limit will make completing the demo way easier this year, and help me to focus. A goal for today is to complete the...- DonyaSze

IS THERE A CHANCE?
OFF-TOPICIf you’re worried about what age you’ll be when you start to work towards growing your business, don’t be. I’m like 40 and I’m not a millionaire yet, but I will be. It’s a goal no matter what age I am, I’m just working towards it right now. Having a job is good, because then you can learn...- DonyaSze

MINDSETI don’t think anything about that changed much. What changed this past month is my mindset. I need to work on my project like I need air. I’ll answer your question with how I plan and approach tasks and how I’ve been doing it all this time. I have a discord server meant for everyone involved in...- DonyaSze

I've had a huge mindset shift since starting here a month ago!
MINDSETHaving created a routine puts in place what I 'feel like' doing each time. Like when I used to have a job, I would go to work because I 'felt like it' even though it was no fun at all. Keeping the routine going after getting layed off helped me to focus. That and I also enjoy what I'm doing...- DonyaSze

I've had a huge mindset shift since starting here a month ago!
MINDSETA month already? Omg. Before I joined the FLF, I would let most anything distract me from my project and creating it. And now, a month in, and after having read a bit of the forum every day for that whole month, my mind has shifted to absolutely despising distractions of any kind. I will avoid...- DonyaSze

Crawling thru a sewer pipe filled with sh*t: Why it matters.
GOLD! MINDSETThis is awesome. Especially since I keep hearing people say 'your dream has to be super ultra specific!' But when I try to focus on it being specific it just sorta tightens the overall feeling of what I actually want: happiness! This post is very validating. Thanks MJ!- DonyaSze
