Thank you so much for your feedback, I have taken note! I don't have a huge stock at the moment and will sell what I have to retail customers for Christmas, however as soon as I get the next shipment (early January) I will start contacting businesses. Will be a busy January! :) Will be a busy...

Resellers ask me for wholesale catalog and never get back :(

    MARKETING
Thanks. There are not many resellers of the specific product I sell here in Europe, or at least I don't see so many resellers with the same type of products (unless the buyers find out that they can find the original supplier on Alibaba and get it for cheaper there, but I am pretty sure most...

Resellers ask me for wholesale catalog and never get back :(

    MARKETING
Yeah, price is a bit higher than usual but on the other side once I see it is a genuine business contacting me I don't set any MOQ (if I am not 100% sure that I am dealing with a genuine business then I set a minimum spending of 300$, which is very reasonable).

Resellers ask me for wholesale catalog and never get back :(

    MARKETING
Yeah I usually follow up after a week or so (don't like to be too pushy and chase them too often as it would look a bit desperate), but most of the time they just don't reply. Of course sample size is still small and so it is hard to have reliable conclusions, but if I am doing something wrong...

Resellers ask me for wholesale catalog and never get back :(

    MARKETING
Hi, 7 months ago I launched an e-Commerce site and the idea was direct selling to customers only (B2C), however in the past couple of months I have been contacted by about 15 companies interested in reselling my products (note that I don't manufacture them, I import them from Asia and resell)...

Setting wholesale price and selling to offline stores

    MARKETING
Hi, I started my first e-commerce store about 6 months ago. My initial aim was to just direct-sales to customers, however as time went by I have started receiving more and more request for wholesale from other businesses, which is great. I put together a catalog and for each product I have...

Found this thread, thanks for the link to Gimp. I was wondering if any of you outsource products picture editing to a freelancer (via Upwork for example) and what the rate should be? I think I have figure the way around this: 1) First download a large number of pictures+caption (use "Crawl") and do not share photos. 2) Once you have a good numbers of pictures+caption downloaded (let's say you post 5 per day, just downloaded 500 pics and you are covered for 3 months, this is...

Hi, looking to see if someone can advise here as I am a bit confused. around 6 months ago I launched my first E-Commerce website, I have been very active on Social Media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and setup some basic Paid Ads on Adwords. My weakeast point is certainly SEO, all I have...

I have the same problem, can only add a couple of words beside <@owner> , everything else is taken from the original post :( I also have another problem with the "Crawl" process, in the "RSS URL" I enter several accounts to take the content from, however it looks like all the contents are taken...

How does Britain possibly leaving the EU effect the world?

    OFF-TOPIC
What impact can this have on marketplaces like Amazon.co.uk ? At the moment in Europe Amazon has 5 marketplaces: UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, France. In most cases just a single approval for all 5 countries is needed in order to sell (please correct if I am wrong). Will Amazon.co.uk comply to UK...

Selling imported/branded cosmetic in the EU (and US?)

Thank you all for the replies. I won't be selling in the EU - I learned a lot from this experience, especially that in the EU there PLENTY of small companies selling cosmetics without the proper approvals (and I also got the confirmation on this by the person looking into the documentation...

Selling imported/branded cosmetic in the EU (and US?)

Hi! First of all thank you very much for taking the time for this long and comprehensive answer. I agree I should have done more research beforehand, I paid the inexperience in this field, I wasn't really planning to get into cosmetics, this was really a one-off thing. I will give a try with the...

Selling imported/branded cosmetic in the EU (and US?)

Selling imported/branded cosmetic in the EU (and US?)

Hi, a couple of months ago I imported from China my first branded cosmetic and now I am going through the paper work to be able to sell it in the EU, I wish I never did it, the level of documentation required is absolutely ridiculous. I never planned to sell cosmetic but this was a one-off...

Why Ireland is the gateway for european buiness

Didn't know about this - do you have a link with more info please? So if I import a product from China (500pcs) and sell 200pcs on my e-commerce website (in Ireland) and then sell 300pcs on Amazon.co.uk and make it not purchasable from Ireland I can claim duties back on 300pcs?
