The All Time Top 3 Life Changing Books...

    BOOKS
Jim Rohn about the power of ideas: “Ideas can be life-changing. And sometimes all you need is just one more in a series of good ideas. It’s like dialing the numbers into the lock. You’ve got 5 or 6 numbers dialed into the lock, the lock still won’t come open, but you don’t need 5 or 6 more...

What's Your Core Values? I Include Mine

    HOT! MINDSET
@eliquid I haven't seen anyone here listing the same core values as Atlas Shrugged did. I came up with my list of values about a decade ago, way before I read it. The book was mostly used as a fictional dystropian example of having wrong or undefined core values.

What's Your Core Values? I Include Mine

    HOT! MINDSET
I think if one can live a normal and happy life without X then that person should not call X a core value. Hank Rearden was unhappy because he didn't have his hierarchy of values structured clearly. He had one list in his subconscious mind while he was following another list that the society...

What's Your Core Values? I Include Mine

    HOT! MINDSET
When qualifying core values one has to think big. As big as possible. I would ask a qualifying question: Would the life be worth living without X? Is freedom more important than physical health? Is having physical health more important than mental clarity? Is the life of a loved one more...

What's Your Core Values? I Include Mine

    HOT! MINDSET
I am glad you brought up Ayn Rand. One really cannot discuss core values intellegibly and intelligently without having read Atlas Shrugged and having understood it. It's actually a thesis on core values. People pursue certain values and the story is logically extrapolated to where those values...

    Initial Logo Concepts

I like 2 and 6. Other square looking eagles look somewhat tyrannical. I also love the large black/orange eagle that you have in two of your later logos, but it seems to be more directed at and appealing to women. And no, I do not see a "V" in the eagles. There are two Vs in your name. The first...

What's Your Core Values? I Include Mine

    HOT! MINDSET
People have different values, that's natural, but this thread reveals that most people have only a vague idea of what their personal values really are. They mix values with goals, wishes, and whatever else they seem to desire today. Having correct values and knowing what they are is critically...

The All Time Top 3 Life Changing Books...

    BOOKS
The first life changing book for me was "The Art of Exceptional Living" by Jim Rohn. It's a very captivating audiobook recorded by an inspirational speaker. I listened to it as if it was my favorite music CD for about 10 years. I wish I had met the man before he passed away. He was inspiring...

    Greetings to all drivers!

    INTRO
Audiobooks are only expensive if you buy them on CDs at a bookstore. Then they charge you as if they are music CDs, about $15 per CD, and an average book ends up costing like one of those mandatory school textbooks. But at Audible.com I never pay more than $12 per book, even for the...

    Mine are the same as MJ's, which are: 1) Freedom, 2) Health/Fitness, 3) Love/Relationships.

How will the new domain types influence the industry?

    WEB/DIGITAL
If XYZ.company or XYZ.net put out an ad then some of their intended traffic will benefit the XYZ.com company, but not vice versa.

    Greetings to all drivers!

    INTRO
BEEP-BEEP! Greetings! I finally finished The Millionaire Fastlane book. I have always been a slow and contemplative reader. Not sure how I got through my undergrad and two graduate degrees. But I love audiobooks, and I love to drive, so I listen to a lot of books. After staring at the book's...

    Cuba!

    OFF-TOPIC
The Cubans definitely want all kinds of inexpensive consumer products. They do want new cars and consumer electronics, obviously, but they can't afford them. The department and grocery stores have empty shelves. Things like clothes, soap, razor blades, and childrens toys were the exchange...

Anyone with experience with drop shipping?

Don't forget that as a new dealer you do not get good dealer pricing. Other established high volume dealers get to pocket 10, 20, 30% of MSRP more than you do. With your 4-hour per week customer service you can't offer a Unique Service Proposition either.

Anyone with experience with drop shipping?

I use some drop shipping to supplement my own product line. Had it been my main source of revenue I would've closed my business a long time ago. The guys who had nothing but low prices all came and went. Drop shipping fails the Commandments of Entry (anyone can do it), Control (you have no...

    How to battle 3-5pm

    MINDSET
Split your lunch in 2 portions. Eat the first half at the regular time, and then the second half ~3 hours later. The increased metabolism, energy, along with some hunger will get you jumping, and won't let you sleep.
