Unpopular Opinion: "Give Value for Free" is Bullshit More Often Than Not

    NOTABLE! MINDSET FTE
You don't give away value for free. You sell value. But the first taste is FREE. Now I know this to work in multiple areas in life :clench:

Is this too ambitious of an idea?

    HOT! IDEA
Well even Uber had to start somehow. The first versions of all popular apps & websites are basic. It's later on they start growing, they get investors and blow up.

    Dear older newbies...

You know im still 25 but I feel like your 20s are for figuring things out. You are still young so don't think this way! Find something you want to be good at, and read like 20 books on that subject. Put things you learn into practice as you go along, and soon you will have the skills you want...

How do you stop hating yourself?

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
How you think about yourself is how you feel. If you're tired of feeling like this, create a new you! Ask yourself these questions: How do I want to feel every day? What am I working towards? What do I want to have? What do I give to the world? Sit back, close your eyes and concentrate. Think...

What's a good cold call script?

    SIDE HUSTLE
I was sent on a training about cold calls for a job I had in the past. What we did was send out an email first and then call to follow up. We created a script with a few bullet points that we need to mention during the conversation, just as a helping hand, because sometimes when you're in a call...

How to find a need / problem?

Well you don't have to be complaining with a balled up fist. It's more about the thought process in your head. You need to notice when something isn't working too great and find a (possible) way to fill the gap. From a Fastlane perspective a carpet cleaning service doesn't really hit any of the...

How to find a need / problem?

I don't know if you've read MJ's books but he describes the process in detail with multiple examples. What comes to my mind atm is finding something you yourself have problems with. If you're waiting in a line for example and think to yourself "Ugh I wish there was an easier way to do this"...

How to advertise a luxury streetwear brand?

    HOT! MARKETING
You must insert the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service in the footer and organize everything a bit better so it looks nicer visually. As for the logo, I don't think the barb wire blends in nicely with the letters. The name gets lost and it's hard to even read. The name should be the main...

How to advertise a luxury streetwear brand?

    HOT! MARKETING
Whoa everyone just decided to brush away constructive criticism and jumped straight to dream crushing :clench: I'd say the website does need some more work but I can see the millennial/urban style you're going for. If millennials are the target audience, it so happens that not everything has...

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread

    HOT! CHAT
I was reading a book about this topic a while ago by Elizabeth Gilbert. She describes how ideas are an energetic life-form looking for a human partner. If it thinks that you can do the job, it will pay you a visit. But, if it notices that you won't collaborate to the execution, it will find...

Agree or Disagree: Entrepreneurship is a privilege

    HOT!
But a wealthy person had to have done something right to get there in the first place. If you're born rich then your parents must have done something right to get there and sustain their wealth. And you will have to do something to keep all that too. Personally I was never raised to believe i...

F*ck This Guy - Tai Lopez

    FUNNY
I don't know anything about this guys' philosophies, but I've tried watching a few of his videos and I couldn't even sit through 3 minutes. I still sometimes get his ads on YT videos and trust me I'm quick to skip that s#!t. What's sad is my friend bought his 1000 dollar course or something...

Unlimited Shopify Trial (up to 50 orders)

Exactly! And I don't think anybody should be paying for these loophole shops. The shop still stays tied to the creator until the development is "done" and you purchase a plan so they transfer ownership. Just go with the 14 days trial, it is plenty of time to create a store because the process...

Unlimited Shopify Trial (up to 50 orders)

I did some research today. The purpose of these websites is so a Shopify Partner can create and edit a webpage and than pass it on to a customer once it's done, so the customer starts using Shopify by choosing a pricing plan. The 50 orders are meant to be test orders. The way these people do...

Elon Musk’s Neuralink will connect computers to your brain. Product to be released ‘in a few months'

    OFF-TOPIC
Well I've met dumb and smart people of different ages. I know some millennials who are doing amazing stuff. Technology is a tool, and it depends on how you use it at the end of the day. My point was that it's different if your phone breaks down, or a part that's controlling your brain breaks down.

Elon Musk’s Neuralink will connect computers to your brain. Product to be released ‘in a few months'

    OFF-TOPIC
This is something I would love to do, my only concern is that the long term effects are hard to predict. What happens to your brain 5 years after the change? 10 years? The possibilities are amazing of course but our tech is not always reliable. Every piece of technology goes rouge at some point...

Anyone else notice that McDonalds is making a *killing* lately?

    HOT!
McDonalds is fast, cheap and addictive. But what they're doing long term with their strategy is creating places that look exactly the same, so it doesn't matter which McDonalds restaurant you pass, it triggers a habitual response in your brain. And you will pass by one of them for sure, because...
