    Hey man, your a bit vague here but it sounds like your idea is still in development? A good place to start would be to try and validate your idea in some way. As soon as you get a hint of a positive reaction it will start a chain reaction in your head and you'll be off.

    Having done a quick Google search, I saw that chainsaws are most dangerous when the blade is blunt. A sharp blade will produce chips and a blunt blade will produce more sawdust. I'd add some kind of saw dust filter/switch to keep an eye on the sawdust being produced.

    If you're paying your own way just do your own thing man. I'd tell the people getting on at you about the cards that it's a side business. They think your wasting money, just be like "yeah I made $200 profit last month, I'm building up to start a business".
