    ha, so true, i've been dinking around for 3 mos trying to get right samples for fairly straightforward components. It could be nearly cheaper (time and money) to travel there to conduct business by the time you have a few iterations of samples plus sample/shipping fees.

    i haven't had good luck on that site for quality appealing designs, have tried it twice. I did put an ad on Indeed and craigslist and got nearly 200 responses from mostly local designers. I'm gonna have assistant put them on an email list and ask for logo submissions and pay the winner...

    If there's any way you can swing it, go. It is a trip of a lifetime. A real eery feeling out there knowing you are not at the top of the food chain. Exhilarating to say the least. I went to Botswana for 2 weeks to 3 different camps. You get so close to the wild game too.

    on the high end, i get a bit peeved from overservice actually. many of those places hound ya every 10 seconds and refill your water after every 2 sips, rake the table with their metal bread crumb pooper scooper etc..... too over the top for me as they try to justify a big tip.
