    Programming For Entrepreneurs

There is no charge but the “prize” is a 30 minute sales call with you. Look at the questions you are asking in the survey. Only a small fraction are about programming and it’s pain points. The rest are fishing questions to give you ammo to use on the sales call. That’s the way I read it anyway.

    Programming For Entrepreneurs

I started doing the survey to help you out but it is clearly a sales funnel. This should be in the marketplace/self promo thread

Looking for peers: absolute beasts in full stack software engineering

    PEOPLE
For what it’s worth I don’t think you need to be an “absolute beast” to be an entrepreneur; you only have to be “good enough” to solve the problem directly in front of you. Yes, the zuck was an absolute beast but he didn’t identify as an entrepreneur, he was an artist that wanted to push his own...

    SIDE HUSTLE WEB DESIGN
While bespoke solutions can be attractive, there is merit in not "reinventing the wheel" unless you really have to. FreeCodeCamp's forum isnt built from scratch, and why should it be?

    My first business attempt failed

Why did you call it quits? 7 customers is not a failure, nor is a 7% conversion rate! If you are offering leads for a certain industry, is there any real difference in how many customers you have since you would just be dividing the leads over a larger group anyway?

    Stagflation

    INVESTING
There is no supply shortage. The issue is demand. Factories are nowhere near 100% output capacity. Wage/price spirals are not really a concern anymore as any increase to wages just incentivises companies to invest more in automation, which weakens demand for workers. imo the future is in...

Thanks and kudos for the time and effort you took in sharing this! Its clear that a lot of thought and effort went into this post. I definitely felt some dots connecting while reading. Opportunities

    MINDSET
Forget scale for a second and focus on need. What is a problem you experience (and probably put up with) in your daily life? What are your friends/coworkers/soccer buddies always complaining about? Is there a solution to their problem (this requires research)? If not, can you make and sell the...

Focus and subtraction or shave the yak?

Dont try and solve problems that dont yet exist. First get a customer. Do it all yourself until you are too busy, then start hiring out the work in small parts until you find a good worker. Then, hand all the work over to them so you can focus on growing, automating etc

Is marriage an archaic and 'scripted' ideology?

    HOT! MINDSET
This is an overlooked example of the 80/20 rule in action... The statistic is misleading since the majority of divorces are done by a minority of people. Marriage means different things to different people. For me it was about demonstrating my devotion to my wife (she is more into the marriage...
