Will apple airpods be a big seller?

    HOT!
I love my iPhone 7 plus and will be buying some sort of wireless headphones in the future possibly the airpods. The EarPods connected to the lightening adapter work great during the time being. To whoever said they don't see the difference between the iPhone 4 and later motels has to be...

    NYC Meetup 10/12/16 @ 6:30pm!

    MEETUPS
If we can ever do a weekend or a lunch time it'd be much easier to make it. I make most of my money at night. That said anyone learning/experienced in software dev. I think it'd be cool to code with some people whether it's practice or working on a project.

Pay my Rent through Ecommerce in 2016

    EXECUTION
I quit! Well not really.... I'm burnt out, I peaked in my current profession and it's not a true fastlane business. It can be, but the time and capital it would take to get there just isn't worth the reward. Right now, I'm capped out, overworked, a slave almost, but all of this has been from...

How do I tell if an uncontested blog space is a good idea?

    IDEA
Are you vegan? What do you know about optimizing health, fitness, energy? Serious questions.

One Man Business making up employee names to look bigger?

Do you have an established business? Is it generating profits? Are you fulfilling a need in the market? If not and you’re just scheming, I’d say your focus is misdirected.

What if you suck at the thing you love. Am I wasting my time?

Who is great at something with only one year of effort put into it? Not many people..... Betting this late in the game that you'll become a professional boxer may not be the wisest bet, but to think you're anywhere near your potential without putting another 5-10 years in is ridiculous. Keep...

I've never sold a thing in my life but now have to learn to sell myself!

    INTRO
I do 80-110 PT sessions a month and is the business I am currently in until I can get other projects fully functioning. Be prepared to work inconvenient hours (for you). Be prepared to notice the average trainer will probably work 1-3 months before quitting. It sucks for most people. It...

The REAL Price of Starting a Website...

    - Sounds good seeing if you can get opt ins with your Facebook ads but I wouldn't let that deter you from building something if you have little success. Get some early adopters on your website and continue to pivot until it turns into a product customers want. Many companies start as...

    difference between website & blogging?

I'd use Wordpress to create your blog. Plenty of themes. Your blog will be on your website. A website doesn't have to be a blog.

Business just started, not taking off as I thought

    INTRO
I agree and disagree to some extent and have several years industry experience as well. I think the sales issue can be fixed by allowing people to book direct off the website and taking a cut, this replaces charging trainers a listing fee. It took me two years to fully book my schedule as a...

Business just started, not taking off as I thought

    INTRO
Thanks. OP Why not charge a % of each sale made through the application instead of a listing fee. More potential for revenue, less risk to the person signing up who has no idea if your service will get them a customer or not.

    Do you regularly make smoothies?

Everyday. Two scoop vanilla protein powder (Trutein has the best tasting protein on the market) 1-1.5 cups mixed blueberries, strawberries, raspberries. 3 tbsp Peanut Butter 1.5 cups of whatever milk is in the fridge. Legit tastes like peanut butter and jelly in the form of a shake.

Pay my Rent through Ecommerce in 2016

    EXECUTION
I haven’t updated this thread in a while and only want to do so when I hit milestones. I’m also taking this in an entire new direction and thought of creating a new thread, but will hold off until I have my product developed. — For the last year and a half I have diligently made note of...

I don't know what city I want to live in

    HOT! MINDSET
If I said hi to everyone I passed in the street here in NYC I wouldn't be able to make it to work. It's not rude, it's being realistic and efficient. Unfortunately I may be jaded, but I am skeptical when someone tries to speak to me in the street and typically keep walking. When you've had...

Turning Away Customers who Can't Afford Your Prices

    NOTABLE!
Little recap on these two customers I referenced in the original post. Customer 1 - we came to an agreed upon hourly rate for my services where we are both happy. He is the first customer I've had in my pipeline to replace an existing customer imideately after losing them. He also found me...

Turning Away Customers who Can't Afford Your Prices

    NOTABLE!
Great posts from everybody. Can't expect anything less from the crowd here. It's weird how the Universe works sometimes, but I lost a good customer this morning because she was moving. It was completely out of the blue, and I was able to negotiate with the other person (one I was referencing...
