    How do you plan?

I created my own set of docs based on Stephen Covey's First Thing First, TMF, 4HWW, Miracle Morning, Russ H's thread, Matt Todd's blog (set yourself sundays!!), Ryan Allis' powerpoint, and probably a few other random sources. Once I made my 'why' and life goals, I broke them down backwards...

Questions on large scale rural realestate

    REAL ESTATE
A few ideas off the top of my head: - Find out why current buyers don't buy more than 1-3... ASK them! - Wholesale discount of course - Seller financing/less $ down - Development teams with options & estimates in place (become a turnkey company essentially) 10 of those properties by themselves...

First time REI? What would you do?

    REAL ESTATE
You seem to have a decent grasp of a few of the basic options you have, and they can all work depending on your skills and action. I'd recommend doing some reading over at bigger pockets, great RE forum. They have all sorts of tools and investment analysis so you can do an apples to apples...

[PROGRESS THREAD] Starting a Food Business

    EXECUTION
Our costs were much lower because we lost our larger investor and just didn't start off at the scale we wanted. It ended up being just under 10k(some of which is ours) instead of 25k or so. With what we had, we got a vehicle, booth setup, working ingredients and final product inventory...

its not the farmers markets themselves, they could care less where our goods come from. Its the health department that regulates where it can be produced. No big deal anyway, the commercial space we have is GREAT, cheap, gives us tons of room to work and we have all the storage space we can use...

I feel like this needs to be said.

    MINDSET
You seem to be taking out of context what was said about your business idea, from what I saw. It was said to not be fastlane because its essentially a job for yourself, at least up front. Can you hire managers and step away from it? Sure. But will you continue to grow it and maintain business...

Thanks for sharing, going to watch it later. Havent read the book yet either, but Cialdini was an author of 'YES! 50 Scientifically Proven Ways to be Persuasive' which was one of the better persuasion books I've read or listened to. Definitely recommend it.

We have our first 2 markets set! April 18 and 21, and every Thursday & Sunday from now on. The tasting in the 'to-do' of my last post was with a team that manages several of the better markets in the area and they loved it enough to put us in two of their mid-level markets right away. Usually...

Progress: We got another investor! Less than we were/are looking for total, but it does give us enough to move forward on a lean budget.
