Shut up and take my money!

What's funny about that video is the extremely smart marketing that they did. The video's introductory text claims that the two guys blew Nike's entire budget on traveling the world instead of making them a video. Yet they still included a nice looking Nike Fuelband in the opening scene...

Dear MJ: Response to a PM from years ago...

    HOT!
Someone on here posted about how cruel entrepreneurship is and how it causes us young guys to mature so fast. That's very true. We can be some of the loneliest people at times (as I've been for the past couple of months) while everyone else is dicking around with girlfriends and other people...

Sold All My Stuff. Taking a 9,000km Train Journey Across Asia.

    OFF-TOPIC
We as entrepreneurs will fight until we make it work. You made this inspirational and ballsy thread and you can't just back out of it now over a water-damaged laptop. Buy an Acer C7 Chromebook for exactly $200 if you can't fix your damaged one. Imagine what you'll gain from just figuring this...

Dual Citizenship and overseas banking option advice?

I totally agree, the world is awesome. I was just kind of going over the big disadvantages and advantages of being a US citizen because US citizenship is a tricky subject now. I don't mean to take over the OP's thread though so I'll discontinue after this post :) They aren't a member of the...

Dual Citizenship and overseas banking option advice?

Sweet. That sounds good to me. Renouncing US citizenship sounds freeing and scary at the same time. It seems like it would be difficult to regain once it's gone. The worldwide taxation of US citizens is basically the only reason I'm considering this. I can't believe that our government does this...

Progress Thread: Starting a Basics Clothing Line

    EXECUTION
Perfect. I had no idea so I'm glad you cleared that up. I'm assuming you'd import from oversea's then have your textiles customized to your liking locally in the States? That would still be more cost-effective than buying bulk clothing from the states I'm also guessing, right? By the way I was...

Progress Thread: Starting a Basics Clothing Line

    EXECUTION
Props to shutting up that one individual hater in this thread (who thought your biz be would be too expensive to start) by taking action and getting sales. I think your website looks clean and Peruvian cotton is my favorite. I have a question for you since I'm also interested in the apparel...

Dual Citizenship and overseas banking option advice?

Wouldn't renouncing US citizenship make things pretty difficult to re-enter the country for even short periods of time? I love the people and lifestyles of certain US states, but just hate our government. I have a second EU citizenship and am also considering renouncing my US one in the future...

    Entrepreneurship - Our Line of Work...is Cut-throat.

Thanks for sharing my exact same mindset. Here's the thing - I'm an International Business/French major. I'm just using this semester to take all entrepreneurship classes because I'm interning within my school's entrepreneurship department (at our App Center). I'm just trying to stay on one...

    Entrepreneurship - Our Line of Work...is Cut-throat.

Absolutely. I definitely believe in having fun but trust me - I've had my fun. I pledged with a fraternity when I was a freshman and partied my balls off for a full year. I'm done with that lifestyle (until I'm successful at least). I want to be able to party and celebrate for a true victory.

    Entrepreneurship - Our Line of Work...is Cut-throat.

Thank you for the support. I love having fun with life and in everything that I do. I've always been "the funny guy" but I just naturally take business super seriously for some reason. I actually take anything to do with competition seriously as it's just in my nature. I want to win. I'm sure...

    Entrepreneurship - Our Line of Work...is Cut-throat.

It's Saturday, a college football gameday at my University. I look through my bedroom window and see college students and families tailgating next door. Students and alumni wearing orange, drinking beer and eating hamburgers. My family is 400 miles away. Friends text me and ask me when I'm...

How is your sex life during your pursuit of millions?

    HOT! PEOPLE
I currently have Entrepreneur's syndrome and focus 99% of my time towards business :) I would love to have a nice relationship but I'll save that for the near future.

Is going to college a waste of time?

    HOT!
That page definitely looks suspect. I would feel pretty questionable about your school's "entrepreneurship center." I feel confident in mine as they've placed me at our school's App Center so I'm directly surrounded by coding and heavy market research in the tech field. I requested to work...

Is going to college a waste of time?

    HOT!
I'm currently a student and while I can say that college definitely hasn't been a waste, the money could have been invested much more wisely. If I had used $7,500 per semester solely towards entrepreneurship (instead of on tuition) I'd probably be a lot further ahead. However I didn't get 100%...

former student of the foundation(dane maxwell) willing to answer questions

    NOTABLE!
I appreciate you ex-students of the Foundation for doing this AMA. I applied for The Foundation but just cancelled it (spam folder'd those e-mails). I'd much rather take my chances on my own ventures with $4000 and learn from my own mistakes. No offense or anything, I'm sure The Foundation...

Dane Maxwell AMA-- SaaS, Membership Sites, The Foundation

    NOTABLE! SAAS / APPS EXECUTION
Thank you very much for coming here to take the time do this AMA. Why did you choose not to learn to code/do your own developing, and purely outsource those aspects of work? I realize that your decision has obviously worked for you, I'm just curious as to your reasoning behind that.

    eCommerce website for men's necklaces

Very interesting idea. I don't notice many males in the college/university aged market who wear necklaces. Maybe that's an opportunity if you can make it cool to wear necklaces again, because most of the time guys will wear their necklaces underneath their shirts to kinda hide them. Quick edit...
