    How much longer would you have to attend university to receive your degree and how much more would it cost you? Would you still have access to the extracurricular activities that you learned from in the past? There is always the chance of failing. Which is when you should get up and try again...

    Well... Still leaves the question, why did you buy the candy in the first place, did you have any idea what to do with it? And how much do you need to make to break even? Saying that you could sell them for $1 is irrelevant if you have no buyers. Still, best of luck.

    I agree with liquidglass. Targeting is the key here, I think. Open rates are crap when the email is considered to be useless. I don't open a lot of newsletters because I have moved on and am too lazy to unsubscribe (shame on me). I DO open newsletters that genuinely interest me. Good headlines...

    Sell as a job lot on ebay? Offer them to gyms to sell on consignment? Offer them to Italian businesses? I looked it up, it's a sugarfree candy brand from Italy, so Americans may be largely unaware of it... Tricky.

    I think building a fanpage is a great strategy and much cheaper in the long run. From what I understand, you're basically trying to do an ad arbitrage - Driving paid traffic to your site in the hope people will click on your ads and bring more money in than you spend. For this model to work...
