    HOT!
Wow, so stoked h.O.O.d was selected. To be frank and honest guys I was just typing the names out by what flashes in my mind, I work in the creative field and coming up with ideas quickly is what I do. I totally agree, and that's why I think you can't get any more descriptive than Shit Shield...

    What does your avatar mean?

    OFF-TOPIC
Hypes me up everytime. Reminds me what services and value I can provide to others and they will "Show me the MONEY!!!" Ironically it also reminds me what kind of crap I have to grind through before I make it onto the Fastlane. EDIT: And BTW what's yours OP?

    Hello From Arkansas

    INTRO
Welcome! The company I'm currently at has a guy coming in every Thursday. He charges $25 per wash and detail. $65 for wash and wax. This lead me to believe that you should probably target commercial and business areas too since that's where most people are during working hours. Good luck with...

    Dead-End Sh*t Jobs ... Yours?

    NOTABLE!
SwEet thread! Like many people said, there is always something to be learned from any experience. 1) Hometown Buffet (6 months): Most labor intensive job. I did everything - reload soft drinks, food, dishes, utensils, mop, mascot, host...you name it. Gained nearly 10lbs. What I'd learn: I...

    What's wrong with the world??

I don't think anyone was really 'bashing' formal education. The world needs obedient and compliant employees. I agree that the world also need highly skilled specialists to advance civilization. But the key word you mentioned is 'extensive formal education'. These are some of the most dedicated...

    What was your first job?

    HOT!
My first job was also my first entrepreneurial venture, although I didn't realize it at the time. I was 12 and selling snow-cones to the neighborhood kids when everyone else was selling lemonade. The snow-cone machine was one of those hand cranked ones, it broke right after it paid for itself.

Because not everyone is cut out for it. If they were to start teaching fastlane then they will have a 99% drop out rate.

You might also be looking at too big of a goal and probably got overwhelmed. Heck anyone starting out can get struck with fear when they see someone in their field achieve greatness. Les Brown, one of the greatest motivation speaker imho, talks about fear and how he got started in the...

I think MJ is right, your mindset is not in the right place right now to start a business. You can come on this forum with a problem, ten people can give you a hundred brilliant solutions and you'd still wouldn't know what to do with it. Someone once said, "I'm like a dog chasing cars..I...

IMHO, sounds to me like you have the will and motivation to start a business but lack the experience or cash to do so. With this attitude, the right idea can fall into your lap but you wouldn't know what to do with it, you'd fear that you won't know how, therefore you will not take the risk...

I'm just shooting in the dark, haha. Seems like many people here offered help and solutions but the OP sounds like he's just repeating himself without providing much insight on the situation. I'm just trying to gauge the extent of his problem(s), of course I could be over exaggerating.

Without sounding too intrusive, can you maybe give us a little detail of what you're dealing with? I'm not sure if a deal fell through with the wrong crowd and now a threat has been made on your life or you just lost a great sum of money. Maybe knowing a little more about what you're going...
